If I ever did I would have to change quite a lot. I'm no longer involved with the rest of the team that worked on the last two Unity versions. It would probably have to be a complete revamp of everything outside of my artwork.
yeah, I know, just one voice but if I may throw in my two cents honestly the fact this thread is still continuing despite the game being dead back on page 15 is telling that a reboot (considering would have to change too much for it to be considered a remake) does have some interest on it, though it does seem that the main pothole people had with the old version was it was advertised as an adult game (at least one version of it) but outside of small things here and there the NSFW version was all but the same as the SFW version. So if I had to offer any advice
IF you decide to eventually take a look back at this project is threefold.
1. decide at the start whether the game will be SFW or NSFW, considering the old game prioritizing itself to SFW but in the same breath having a claim it is NSFW via an NSFW version was throwing people off. (before anyone gets on me I'm aware it came up multiple times the team was prioritizing SFW, but because the game had an NSFW it was being perceived as NSFW considering how many times 'where is the NSFW' or 'i accidentally grabbed the SFW version' came up in this forum alone.) plus only needing to concentrate on one version will make for less need to be stretched out.
2. to avoid a repeat cease and desist it would likely be best to pull a friendship is benefits and design the characters to be off-shoots (different colors and names) but can easily be reverted back to their old selves via outside sources such as modding.
3.no need to rush but an update on progress maybe every three to two (could push to one month if you feel the need) months
if you decide to make the project public knowledge honestly would probably help deter people from claiming the game is dead.
Most importantly
no one is pressuring you to start back up the game. you do NOT have to do it. people have come to terms as far as I can see with the fact the game was killed by a claim. sure a reboot would likely be a pleasant surprise but no one is going to force you to do it, especially if it will get in the way or bog down other projects you have, or force you to make something you are not passionate about.
