As far as amateur/early game is concerned does shooting in an upgraded office have any effect vs the shithole one?
Does the game's difficulty setting actually work? I've tried starting with 20k money, but I keep starting with 4k money... Makes me wonder if the other difficulty options are also broken and not working either.
Two pages back the dev confirmed that difficulty settings are not applied when starting the game. You need to change them once you're in the game. Not sure if there's a way to get the money though.
another way to find the right directory is to name your savegame something you can search easily ("whatever_save") and then you search it with windows.
it will find it and now you're at the right place. one folder up and you can create /mods/ directory and whatever subfolders you need (/characters/, /events/, /audio/ ...)
it does not. higher level chicks will refuse to shoot there though and you'll be forced to rent a hotel room or upgrade
it was bugged in v0.91. like said you have to change midgame, but no way to get starting money.

I'll run through weeks and I won't see them any more, contrasting with early on where I even had Maya show up twice in one day. The only one that I did manage to recruit (both times) was surfer dude and Ananya.

You're just "blocked" if you play a female MC, you can't recruit them and just buy the beauty center.
As a male MC you need to go thru the whole story with them, meet them a couple of times in the beauty center,
Maria mon/wed/fr, Lucia tue/thu/sat, here and there it's a bit tricky with the timing (the jacuzzi/massage-part), but you'll get to it sooner or later.

In my current playthrough i recruited them all, so it still does work.
But you're right, it at least feels a little bugged,
Ananya for example you can get in a single day ( and even if her co-workers say she's back in the park, she still spawns in the yoga-center),
for Carmen Moya on the other hand, it took me weeks of going to the hotel every fuckin' day to finally get her.
Well just like Mad Men TV series with Donald Draper. It will add depth to the storyline. Married to a chick, we can visit her seaside apartment. She can be angry when we fuck another porn star. She will ask for a new car. She will asked for vacation to the bahamas on a private jet.
carmen spawns in the mornings, she doesnt have any other requirements. maybe just really bad luck.

I go to the hospital almost every night and, sometimes before and sometimes after midnight. Clicking through the 10 minute refresh until 2 AM. Do that for a good chunk of the day in the library. Still nothing.
And in two games I had basically all of them (except Lena) most of the way to recruitment in the first two weeks, and in the next eight they might as well not exist.
Is there some hidden trigger that you need to get them to spawn to complete their recruitment now? Because this is just endless time-wasting.

My game doesn't work. My windows detect how malicious archive. I execute him, but if open a new game his close the game. This game is very bad.
