OK guys now I encountered a thing that I find not so funny. I aquired a new studio room, and hired staff to run it. That alone took some effort to find some decent people, but that's OK. Now I sent all of them to training, which lasts about two weeks in average.

Now the thing is, that whatever I do, pay them to be ecstatic or what else, they *will* lose happiness while on training, not gain a bit, and when they return to work, they *will* all quit. All of them, one by one. Some last a day or two but they do not get one point of happiness back and then they quit.

Is there anything to be done? One thing I can try is that policy that each staff member will gain 5 points happiness per day, but I am not very confident...

She might have just quit. Special NPCs can quit just like regular ones if they aren't happy. I've lost a couple that way before figuring that out.

I have lost several staff members due to unhappiness, but in case of Lena I was not even able to hire her. She got lost after a conversation in the bar, since then she doe not show up any more and with Lena (and I guess with Paula and Alice as well) you have a choice between two answers, one more pleasent, the other more rough/impolite and I thought that I have scared her away by giving the wrong answer (also because somebody has mentioned in on this thread in the past). But as mbmb has mentioned fortunately it is not possible to loose the SC by just give a wrong answer.

I have the same issue while levelling up the staff of my 7 studios (movie/photo). A good work around was that after I have send the staff member to training (which led to a small higher, automatic set salary and a happiness description of "Indifferent" at "Payment Adjust" although the "Happiness" itself is still e.g. at 100 and not influenced yet) I have made a manual "Payment Adjust" to "Very Happy", not "Ecstatic" which seems to be an issue for small follow up problems.

With this setting the lost of Happiness is less, but mostly still shown with a reduced Happiness after they have returned, but after I have made a "Payment Adjust" to "Ecstatic" they have been at 100 again in a few days.

The "follow up problem" is a bit buggy because I have had some cases where the salary is maxxed out by the game although I have set a less high income and sometimes it was also not possible to reduce the rate to a lower setting manually (which was possible a few days later, have seen no connection to shown personal data or my style of play). As mentioned, by not using "Ecstatic" I did not have had the issue again.

Still, depending on the trait of the staff (e.g. Cantankerous) some members I was not able to keep, so it is only a way to save most, not all of them.

long time ago staff in training were unavailable to do jobs. but since training times are rather long, it doesnt really make it financially viable. so later i've change it so they can still work normally while training.
problem is that while training all daily happiness calculations are freezed. negative or positive.
but if you put that staff to work, the happiness drops from shootings are still calculated (usually negative, only positive when girls have the right traits).
well changing that right now.

the only solution you currently have is to remove them from studio and wait. happiness should not drop when they're free.

I am not aware that staff (not models!) can be removed from studio. I tried to call them to the office and give them some rewards or days off, but that did not help.

However, since they still do work during training, I guess they do the training after working hours in their usually spare time. That would explain some additional happiness loss

The game is very entertaining, but I didn't understand a few things. I can't figure out how to improve my room, it looks so-so and I'd like to improve it.
And secondly I don't understand the sex scenes a bit. Namely, what should I do when the girl says go deeper and pull my hair? What exactly should I change?

To improve your room, you have to go to Empire/Properties and purchase upgrades (for your office and your mansion). They are expensive.

To get an idea about what to do during sex, go to options/dirty talk and see the drop-down on the right of the lines to figure out what they mean.

I saw it in the options. It says to change the stage. But I have no idea how to do it. Maybe it's obvious, but unfortunately I don't understand. I changed all the settings, change poses and speed, but stage do not change.

I am not an expert but I guess the CHANGE_STAGE concerns the numbering of the sex position in the position picker (e.g. mf_car_ride_1 vs. mf_car_ride_2) while the CHANGE_POSITION concerns the part between the prefix and the number (e.g. mf_car_ride_1 vs. mf_car_reverse_1).

So when the girls says "Turn me around!" you change from cowgirl to reverse cowgirl, while you only change the flavor of the position (the numbering) when she says "Grab my legs!".

Apart from that, I think it all is more or less irrelevant for the game's progress but only there for the player's entertainment.

Would be interesting if porn stars could become staff, too.

It's weird how I can use Cheat Engine to change money and stats once the game starts, but I can't find any way to adjust the points in character creation. I find the costs of perks to penalties to be rather lopsided and am trying to fix that. I just can't pin down a memory address for it, though.

they can, but onyl after they retire.
i'll make perks avialable in cheats soon. so you wont have to bother with cheatengine anymore.
