You go to straight to the Casting Agency and there are always 2 types of NPCs available from the get go.

I ran into a nasty bug, that somehow decreased all my stats from 100 to 55. It's only on the character panel. The statistics drop down in the upper right corner still shows 100 in all categories, but I'm 100% sure the char panel's value is used. Even still, I cannot increase my fitness or intelligence again.
Guess that savegame's lost.
Also, how about some gender equality here, dude? A female MC shouldn't have a popularity penalty. As it stands, it's way harder to play a porn kaiserin than a porn kaiser.

2. yea, male only. havent decided what to do if fem main char becomes pregnant. i will do so other chicks can become pregnant randomly.
GF option was removed until i make a new & better system.
there is an autosave for a long time now. it should be working.
click on the chick(or guy) and there's a button on the right panel.
the above bug was fixed in 074b.
yeah was thinking about that. but as a female you can shoot solo scenes and without penalty you could do that over and over breaking the game. i mean, you still can. even with penalty i think you should make enough money to get through.
I'm using v0.74b, though. Guess you might have missed something? Anyway, about the wage gap: I did quite well for myself, despite playing a female MC. It's not all that hard, but it still feels somewhat...clunky. So how about this to balance the issue: Male MCs don't get penalized, while female MCs get to film girl-girl and boy-girl scenes without their own involvement even before they get a studio.
That'd make female MCs more viable while also offering a different playstyle.

How to play to meet the cops and cosplayers???Can answer the first one regarding special characters:
Alice: Beach
Maid: Hotel Room
Smart teen (forgot her name) : Library (Personal assistant or actress)
Fitness trainer: Gym
Sex instructor: Bar
Nurse: Hospital (surprise aye?)penedeyewink:
2 female cops: Slum alley where you buy drugs, if you play it right you can hire them as security or actress' in the end.
Special NPC's you can't hire yet, but can play with:
Fancy rich cougar woman: Hotel lobby, then Jewelry shop (her husband owns it) read her dialogues to get a clue which location you find her next.
3 different cosplay girls, the convention part of Hotel, can't recall exactly when they start to pop up there randomly, but if you answer their questions correctly (might need a guide) you get to have fun with them and also unlock the costumes they wear, so you can outfit your own girls with them, if so wished.
Think that's all I discovered on special girls so far, if more exist please update the list

Unfortunately, Auto Scheduling still produces strange results. I started the week with at least 15 girls available and here are the results :
All girls have Studio 1 enabled and have at least 1 scene type enabled.
No scenes were scheduled for Monday or Thursday (again , lots of girls are available and all days are available for scheduling). I realize that the girls' availability will change from day to day, that is why I included the available girls for that specific day of the week in the screenshots and all the screenshots were done on the Monday, the same day the scenes were auto-scheduled.
The girl chosen for Tuesday was within her Popularity Penalty timeframe.
For the rest of the scenes there are girls with better stats (for Saturday's scene, a LOT of girls with better stats) available, but they were not chosen. 'Prioritize actors with best stats' is turned on.
The 'number of days to schedule a girl for the week' fix looks to have worked well, but it appears Auto-Scheduling still needs some tweaking.
Also, a minor bug, you can't set the advertising to $500 if you don't have $500, but have the chosen the 'advertising doesn't cost anything' perk. It only really happens when you are first starting out when advertising doesn't do much anyway.

This interface is far from user friendly and not only raising my MC's stress level by now but mine as well. How are you supposed to assign a Director which I have already hired to the building and the -equipment a lamp and camera-. It doesn't mention any of that in the Tutorial or Quick Guide. It would be logical if you could do that in the production screen where you assign your models. But it is not there. Am I supposed to buy the 20000 dollar upgrade or the 5000 dollar upgrade at the Studio? I have even hired a hotelroom for a week but that doesn't seem to do it.

@Deckmaster The Hotel will only accommodate up to a certain requirement level. You need to buy further House Improvements to progress, plus the studio levels.
@deathgothic We're in the process of writing a quick and easy guide for everyone to use. If you feel particularly crafty, you can create a Wiki (I had no luck there sadly but I'm sure I can give it a go again!)

when you buy a studio, you click on the building, new window pops up and you assign staff and equipment there.

I gotta agree.. I want to like the game enough to sign up on patreon, but I can't even get the first movie done. I can't believe I need 5k by earning 100\day at the bar before I can start with even a street level hooker to make a movie.
