The names in collection indicates the duos that will trigger a video. All cards with the link icon are linkable together but not all has scenes together.

As for the gameplay, there may be some changes in the future but the core will remain. There are still strategic elements that might not be enough for die hard TCG fans but simplicity was a factor I wanted since I, personally, prefer an easy approach.

I haven't played in while indeed. I used to play IRL card games and played some indie games, but the big popular TCG video games didn't really catch my attention. I also don't have time and skills to create a complex game that I would probably not even like playing. So all in all, I appreciate your feedback and respect your rating if that's how you feel about it. We simply have different taste in games and that okay :)
May I suggest Lisa Ann and Mia Khalifa? ;-)

During this time, have you tested the possibility of adding (Any) videos as I described earlier? Simply adding (by the author) content is always good, BUT you could do more important things = balance and other micro-bugs and implementing some new mechanics, and the players themselves would fill the game with content...

Yes, I started working on a prototype for custom content (cards and videos) that could be available in a couple updates. Being a new dad takes a lot of time so I can't work as much as I would like on the game, but it will be there! I was even able to put an external tool in place for video gathering (thanks ChatGPT!) so it is less time-consuming and could be beneficial for players who want custom content.

From the screenshot, I understand that you want to enable video clip playback via URL links, and currently, it seems limited to three? Then assign them to specific Cards.

In my opinion, you’ve taken an overly complicated and convoluted approach. Let me explain—local file upload would reduce unnecessary load, and users wouldn’t have to wait for the video clip to buffer. A SINGLE input line (instead of three URLs, like in your example) would be enough. We’d just specify the file location on the PC, select the desired clip segment (if the user doesn’t want to trim it), assign it to the relevant Card—and that’s it.

As a bonus, it could also support DUO pairing with other Cards. After following the steps above, we’d have a checkbox for DUO or NON-DUO Cards. For NON-DUO, it’s straightforward. For DUO—the FULL LIST of existing actresses in the game would appear, letting us pick the preferred pairing. In this case, we’d also need to add a separate clip for the DUO interaction.

I’ve visually reworked your screenshot to better illustrate my point.

To summarize:

  1. For a SOLO Card, the DUO option isn’t needed. We just specify the local file path, then set the desired time segment.
    • We also need to clarify the loop duration. Right now, we set the start time but not the duration. With your URL-based approach, someone could technically load an entire YouTube video and watch a full series!
  2. For a DUO Card, we’d need two clips—one for regular scenes and one for DUO interactions. I’ve also added a button to pull up the list of existing actresses, allowing us to link this Card to another, making them work together.
  3. Preview buttons would be a nice bonus, letting us check if everything works before finalizing.
  4. Your "Final Path" button seems unnecessary (especially for URLs). Why specify a destination path when we’ve already set the source? The mockup should make it clearer what I mean.
  5. I also didn't see the point in the (custom) button.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, disclaimer is in my signature :LOL:

The purpose of the tool is used to download a 10 seconds clip from PH (I didn't test with other website) without having to download the whole video and trimming it via a video editing software. It also use the correct formatting for the game, for example the game looks for "PornstarName_Action1/2/3.mp4" or "PornstarName_PornstarName1/2/3". So no more syntax error when naming files (Like PornstarName_Asex would not work since the syntax used is Pornstarname_ASex). I used to do it manually for each videos, which was taking quite a while, and downloading a 1 Go file for a 10 seconds was unnecessary.

So basically:

- Enter the URL of the video you want;
- Enter the timestamp of the 10 seconds clip you want;
- Enter the Pornstar name you're working on;
- Select the Action (Custom field is used in case of a Duo scene);
- Select where to save the clip.

The video streams to the part, so no downloading the whole vid, and save it as a mp4 file where it was specified using the correct nomenclature.

So for custom content, a user would create a folder with everything in it and use the tool to make the vids. The goal is to be able to create packs and share it with the community. What I'm working on is an in-game card creator so you can have basic functionnalities like scale, rotate, flip and crop a picture and apply it on a design of a card. Stats would be randomly selected between a range, with the ability to reroll and an option to set the card rarity.

I gave this game a try cause I love porngames that are actual games and card games IRL. However I am not too thrilled with the current gameplay and will not continue to play until there are some overhauls.

I have some suggestions to share though.
First some minor QoL stuff:
  • Sometimes when the CPU passes its turn it can be hard to realize that it's the player's turn again. A small visual indicator would be nice. This should not be some fancy animation that takes a lot of time but something simple like giving the "CPU turn" and "player turn" texts in the top right corner different colors.
  • When I quickly want to discard a card to end my turn, oftentimes the card ends up not snapping to the discard zone but rather the finisher or action zone and triggers a notification that the card is not legal in that zone or that I can't play another card this turn. I understand that there isn't really an alternative for when I could still play a card but don't want to. But I shouldn't have to match the card so precisely to the discard zone if my only legal move is to discard a card anyways since I already played one for the turn. You could increase the discard snapping area in this case.
Concerning pornstar abilities:
Most pornstars have some kind of ability where they get a buff when some condition is met. This mainly influences the strategic gameplay of deckbuilding where I try to put in pornstars that get buffed by the conditions I am likely to fulfill. For example I might decide to put in pornstars that get buffed if there is a teasing action card and mainly or only teasing action cards. However these abilities don't really have an influence on the actual tactical gameplay of playing the game. Here you still need to play the pornstar with the bigger number. It's just that because of my deck construction it is very likely or even guaranteed that the pornstar number is a bit bigger than the card actually says.
The only other ability I noticed were pornstars that discarded the opponent's item when played. I think the game would profit a lot from more abilities in that vein, as they actually have an impact in the individual games you play. However in their current form they are almost unuseable.
Assume that the CPU plays an item I want to discard. More often than not I will have a pornstar already in play. So first I need to spend a turn to discard that pornstar. Then I need to spend a second turn to play the pornstar that discards the item. However since the pornstars that discard items have lower stats than other pornstars and don't have a buff ability I need to replace the item discard pornstar with one with good stats. So I need to spend a third turn to discard the current pornstar and a fourth one to play one with good stats. This takes so many truns that the CPU is almost guaranteed to attack and win since the player will have either no pornstar or one with bad stats in play.

I would change the gameplay so that you can play cards into zones where a card is already played. The old card can simply be discarded automatically without spending a turn to do so. This would make cards with "when played" effects a lot more useable.

Concerning pornstar stats:
Pornstars oftentimes are either strong in offense, strong in defense or balanced between the two. On a surface level this seems fair and balanced. However only strong offense pornstars are actually good. When you "win" the defense of an opponent's attack you don't gain any advantage other than not losing a life. They don't help you win the game, they only help to make you lose slower. But since the board gets reset after every attack the "lose slower" aspect doesn't matter at all. To win the game you need to win attacks. And for that you need pornstars with strong offense.
Balanced pornstars at least can win an attack if the opponent has a strong offense pornstar in play. However they still lose the defense against it. So in this case the balanced pornstar is in the exact same class as a strong offense pornstar. But the strong offense star can also defeat an opponent's balanced pornstar and maybe even a strong defense star. The balanced one cannot.

And finally the biggest problem of the gameplay in its current state. Long periods of both players just drawing and discarding without anything else happening. This is peak boring. This happens either when players want to attack but can't because they don't have an action and a finisher card assembled. Or it happens when the CPU has played a pornstar with stats so good you know you can't defeat. In this case it doesn't make any sense to play and waste an action/finisher card for an attack to resetb the bord. As long as you have the life to spare, the smart move is let the CPU use the cards and safe your own for the next attack. Then you are literally just sitting there with your next attack readily assambled in hand and justwait turn after trun for the CPU to finally assemble action/finisher and attack you.
This issue needs to be addressed before I consider picking up the game again. If for example some card advantage/ card selection mechanics are introduced it will help to make the first case of players wanting to attack but being unable to less likely. For the second case, maybe there could be an option to just sacrifice a life and reset the board? It would technically still be better to wait for the CPU to play the cards and actually make the attack. But it does give the option to skip the boring part of "nobody plays anything for several turns in a row".
