Unity Portals of Phereon [v0.31.0.1] [Syvaron]

I'm usually decent at turn based games, but something about this one is really fucking me. I go to do the first quest given by the king, and walk into the portal. Go over to exclamation mark, get an alleyway stabbing by 7 lava worms, lose all my homies, and have to restart. Next world my quest portal is covered by shadow lands, and I then get ambushed by level 6-9 shadow creatures.

The run I got the furthest on was starting as Madam, using my starting succubus to recruit some people in portals, and putting them in the brothel. I got a very nice amount of money from this, and was able to hire some pretty decent lads from the tavern. I would then use the best of them to make eggs for even better people. Since I had a lot of money, equipment wasn't a problem, but my followers were under leveled. At that point only stupidly strong portals were spawning, and I couldn't level my guys that had really good stats.

Started as Knight this time, picking up a succubus starter for easy recruiting, and a centaur for tanking/bruising. Since that last Madam run ended with me being out leveled, I tried getting an early advantage by fighting with superior gear. It was going fine, but getting money was a hassle compared to Madam, and the enemies in the portals were outnumbering me instead of out leveling.

Is a run possible in every seed, or do I really just have to hope I don't get railed by a bad start?

Ranked battels on arena don't scale with time, and going through E-S battels gives enough exp to level 10+ times. And if you have good gear it is not hard. Good gear (blue/orange rarity) can be obtained from dates.

Also recent patch added date cards that give exp to both participants based on the level of partner. So if you spam dates (with town npcs or your starters) it is not a problem for mc to reach lvl20 on day 2, and then you can max your characters in like 2 dates.

I did the dating a little bit, and messed with the date deck, but I didn't know it gave XP like that. I thought the addition of the dating cards was a pretty neat gameplay decision. Last time I played this game was a couple years ago or so. I don't know about any of the new mechanics, or balance changes.

This is the first time I've asked anyone else for help about this game, because I usually like finding out things myself, but I've just been getting pounded lately.

Like brgont said, arena battles and dating are great ways to level up, you could also consider checking out the saved portal you start with as it's pretty low power

How does someone get so many levels from dating? I did one rq, and I got 2 levels, which is still pretty good considering I do almost nothing. How do I hit level cap at day 2 from dating?

Edit: The spar card gives XP, but the casual set only has two, and they go away.

It is important to consider that this can be harmful. Evolution and druid ignore the bonuses of genes, but creation not, and lvling up too much as creation too eraly is very harmful

You can train mc to get 10 exp/30min, click on training room below arena on the map and there you can spam training when you're done with other chores (breeding, dating, crafting etc). It only works for mc but it's free and there are no requirements. As for giving exp to other units you can ask Aila to train them but you gotta unlock that option by winning few arena fights first

1) These cards can be used multiple times during one date
2) You can add new cards to decks
3) There is improved version with 6 lewd requirement that gives more exp
4) The higher level your partner has - the more exp you get

I knew 1), 2), and 3), but not 4). 4) is certainly interesting.

It seems I still don't understand how this game works...

Genes work as bonuses when you level up, if you level up with 5 strenght, you'll get one number, and if you have 6 strenght, you'll get another. And important thing is that if you change the strength gene from 5 to 6, it won't change the strength you've already received, it will only affect further strength acquisition. Therefore, it is harmful to raise the level before you can get more bonuses to the necessary genes through the skill tree. And thats only if you play creation, druid and eva have 0 effects from them

To be clear Genes effect literally every other character and animal, it's just Evo and Druid who don't need to gene max, like if you play one of the unlockables instead of Oriel or if you want to get your allies to be useful you want to pump their stats before leveling.

Usually i play in Freeplay, and recommend everyone to do the same. That way i don't have to wory about race againt time, as my enemies become stronger while i date girls (Also fuck King's quests). And also, i like to get some early levels and money from battles at the Arena. They are pretty save, and low tier rank battles are easy, so you can rank up your girls before sending them to brothel without even leveling and equipping them. And at evening, you can train with Aila at "training" near Arena to get XP for your main character. I Like investing in my main character alot, and have it win most battles by mostly itself, but i heard from other people that it's inefective.

I mostly agree with you, the event portals do have some extremely valuable buffs and essences which cannot be acquired without it though, also the portals are pretty vital for unlocking a lot of stuff for later runs, otherwise i completely agree that the easiest way to gather power is on Phereon lol, oh also if you want the Angelic pact too, thats another portal only buff iirc.

Place the file into PoP_V*_Data/saveData, overwriting your own. You must use new saves for some Unlockables to work (as far as in-game stuff goes, Gallery should be unlocked no matter what), no matter who creates an Unlockables. I can't believe this needs to be said: Use exact filename and make sure you're not some idiot one using Windows without file-extensions shown... >_> If you can't figure it out, that is your problem, no support offered. By the way, you can restart the game (entire process) to re-shuffle the starting bonus traits (the ones highlighted in blue). For instance, getting God with a bonus.

Some passive daily gold income (50 base + characters lvl*5)+if you assigned chars with "Lawful" personality - some reputation income aswell. Simple as that.

I tried to do myself but uhh.. I ended up turning the game into a twisted nuclear abomination... ...oops. So I beseech your intervention..
