I really never got the appeal of the Hunter scenes. I think I was innocently playing along, got one, immediately ran to see if it was hard built into the game, then choose the other option.

There are different reasons...
One is to see the women completely objectified in a way that the MC would never do.
Another is to show how completely addicted to sex the women can become, where they'd be willing to have sex with someone as repulsive as Hunter just because he's a good fuck.

The only part that might be canon is that she says she blew her dog before. conversations that say something happen or expand lore tend to be true, if we use Hunters bad ends as examples. she said she's never had sex with him. Even after the choice if she fucks her dog, it wasn't intended to continue. i learned that it's not canon either.
