My goalpost was always the unsatisfactory amount of OpheliaxSterling sex scenes thanks to the "amazing idea" to make them have sex for the first time only in the very end of the game and trying compensate this only with talks they are having tons of sex but we just don't see it. Because to WWG seems like this was what everyone following this slowburn wanted: only read that Ophelia and Sterling are having tons of sex instead of see this "tons of sex".
Hey now, the devs gotta devote time to make sure all the other character's get a turn with her, can't waste time on things like sex scenes...with the main character.

I'm playing part 5. I wanted to get rid of Mallory. I let her go. I was glad she got into Hunter. It took me back to the beginning of the scene. I've been through it three times and I can't get out of this circle. I want to leave Mallory for Hunter. This is my choice. How to do it?

If you want to continue after a bad end, you have to accept the other choice. No way about it.

You can't blame WWG for making scenes with characters that never interacted before. Those were suggested and voted for on his patreon. WWG even made a rule that Ophelia, Cath and Brenna could be used multiple times for Last Chance suggestions, unlike every other character.

He gave the community every opportunity to make more Ophelia if they wanted, but the community didn't vote for it. So again, WWG isn't to blame as he let it up to his members to decide what extra scenes we wanted.
I mean he didn’t have to allow pairings that made no sense to be in his polls. At some point it’s his game and he could’ve made an artistic choose to not include scenes like that. So I mean yeah anyone upset over the random scenes can definitely blame him, it’s ultimately his choice.

Same problem as when people tried to vote for NTR couplings that have literally never met or interacted, at some point as the dev he can say “no that doesn’t make sense”.

Then this game is not for you I'm afraid. The only choices you have as a player is the sequence in which the scenes unfold, and wether you want to actually see the bad ends or not. But besides from that, the story is linear. You have to follow it as-is in order to progress.
Unfortunately, you may be right. I play various linear games, but there I always have the opportunity to choose which characters I accept and which I do not. If I'm got two choices and it has no effect, it's not even a game. It's a visual novel. A 3d comic book.

The whole point and very description of the last chance pole was "last chance to see characters paired that otherwise would never have been in the main game".

that's exactly why some pairs "don't make sense" or "have never interacted before", because that's the point.
