I don't think that's what he meant. David and Sterling had already completely lost months ago. He even bumped off Drew. So who are the others that must fail?
I'm not sure what to make of "everyone else must fail". I suppose by "everyone else", Hunter's referring to his competition, in this case Sterling. Hunter might've been able to seduce the women more quickly, but he wants a more complete victory for some reason, either out of ego or perhaps to ensure it's long-lasting. Hunter knows that to truly "conquer" the women after they fell in love with Sterling, he has to undermine Sterling in their minds, which is a gradual process.
Yeah agreed. I think what Fayn says pretty much sums it up. Man Hunter is such a sick bastard. Amazing character

The whole quote is a meme, so I think its more a joke for the non canon NTR scene than a deep reveal of Hunters character
I mean it could be but Hunter has also foreshadowed a bunch of major plot points before in his bad ends. Annabelle 2 was foreshadowed in his chapter 11 bad end.

I think "everyone else must fail" means, that he does not want to share. If you succeed and your competitor(s) also succeed, you probably have to share your win. He wants a complete victory and does not want to be one winner amongst others. Destroying your opponents has the advantage, that they will never be able to compete with you in the future.

I've been really puzzling over that line, "It is not sufficient that I succeed. Everyone else must fail”. I ended up reading about "Mr. Khan", a character from a British sitcom, and about Khan Noonien Singh from Star Trek.

Eventually I came upon the reference, which is a quote attributed to Genghis Khan. So with that, I think it's merely another way of saying that Hunter has "conquered" the house.

Good point without Hunter's aphrodisiac shenanigans perhaps that's the nudge that was needed to create those relationships that formed. Although that brings up another quesion..did David have a thing with Nora before or after Hunter or Drew maybe did something to her? This is why I am semi hoping that there is some passed down thing that allows the girls and Sterling to naturally be more open to the idea of the taboo relationships that we see formed.
My understanding of the timeline is that David and his mother Nora had something going on before she got involved with Drew (and later also with Hunter). This may be partly why David expressed such feelings of rage and betrayal when he discovered Nora (and Keira) were having sex with Drew and Hunter.

And yes, if there was such as thing as a genetic predisposition to incest, Sterling and his siblings could have inherited it from both of their parents. Honestly such a trait seems like something that would be naturally eliminated over enough generations, but I'll suspend my disbelief because porn logic lol.

This must be what you're talking about? Wow, this line didn't register at all the first time I saw it. Damn, WWG really does drop a lot of hints. This has me considering replaying the whole game before Chapter 13.

interesting. i don't remember the context of that scene. had he slept with Ophelia there? if he had, i might have mistook him as saying Ophelia is replacing Annabelle as a sex partner / lover and more girls will be joining later. I don't remember that line, been too long.

It's early in the Chapter 11 bad end, after Hunter captures Sterling, but before the "transition".

Everyone. I've said it in the past. It's a power move. You see it enough in NTR hentai. It's not enough to fuck the girl, she has to admit that you're better than her boyfriend. This is just the next step. Hunter succeeds where others fail. He doesn't succeed because he was faster, but because he was better. It's pure ego stroking.

I know how biology works, but in porn game logic, i had hoped Brenna would get pregnant with puppies. Now i'm hoping Ophelia will, even if it's unlikely. so i had photoshopped this Brenna scene so that she's pregnant with Cerberus' puppies after the time skip.
