Either it's bait, or he's projecting issues related to today being Mother's Day. When people dislike a character it's usually Hunter or Catherine. Ophelia is arguably the most popular character, with maybe Brenna as her closest competition. Joke's on him though, because in chapter 13 Ophelia will be "fed to the dogs" so-to-speak.

I disliked Catherine when she was persistently harming people without taking accountability. Like when she almost suffocated Sterling while they worked out. But she improved over time.The Catherine slander
Then I was frustrated at Ophelia because she would snap at Sterling for stuff that was one 1/10th of what other people were doing.

I can respect that, thanks for actually explaining. I found myself getting annoyed with the way Sterling is treated too, I started noticing it more in the recent chapters. Sometimes he seems like a prop to me, not sure what changed.

What an awful take, Eva is one of the best characters, straightforward, MC's ultimate wingwoman, instrumental in breaking down Brenna, a driving force for the woman on woman action. MC's first as well, hopefully the dev doesn't forget that.The Catherine slander

Eva? That's the central age appropriate vanilla relationship.
She was the first one. She is THE girlfriend of Sterling. The relationship which, ideally, shouldn't need any "mandatory patch."

I think I mostly agree with your comment, about how she's straightforward and important to Brenna's story. I enjoyed her very early on and liked how confident she is. However for me I felt that she had wore out her welcome after that second or third scene at the hotel, served her purpose in the story, and found myself wishing other characters had gotten the screen time she did as the story went on.

I do like Eva's fun-loving attitude and "wingman" role for Sterling, but she was becoming superfluous and I think that's why WWG put her in time-out (a couple times?) in the middle of the story.
But, while less direct than her helping Sterling with Brenna, Eva did contribute to Sterling eventually hooking up with Ophelia. The taste comparison scenes made Ophelia curious about Brenna, which led to her suspecting Sterling and Brenna were having sex, which in turn made Ophelia more open to fucking Sterling herself, because she was being left out.
Eva also got Ophelia and Mallory to open up to girl/girl experiences and threesomes.
I'm looking forward to seeing what mischief Eva gets up to in chapter 13. From teasers it appears she takes a futa pill and gets (at least?) a BJ from Ophelia.
Can't see how Ophelia is one of "the best" characters since she is a bitchy, judgemental hypocrite literally every worst trade aside from being a rapist, i'd argue that as a character even hunter should rate above her even though i hate him too and am not a fan of NRT.
1. Sterling comes home, Ophelia apologizes for never doing anything about the father being a prick and says she will be a better parent.
2. Uses Sterling at every opportunity and give him shit for minor things like jokes at the book club or using a sex toy, or trying to have sex after telling him to have sex.
3. Breaks his dick, shits on everyone, is the only character that is still a cunt to him about his issue that she caused and refuses to help, before you jump on the incest is wrong thing and her reaction is realistic, brenna is the one that actually tried to help him make money for the photo shoot and is the one that saved him but even Cathryn that wasn't helping him wasn't teasing him and basically telling him to just live with it, the mom that broke his dick is also the one that got rid of all the sex toys in the house causing Sterling and Brenna hand issues while riding Brenna's toy and she is the one that had Ema go on vacation.
4. When Sterling could get a bonner and had to deal with it at a moment's notice and his hand was giving issues everyone pitched and Ophilia wouldn't even offer to find a toy that could work for him, hell she didn't even go check if the toys were still in the storage before it got auctioned off because it didn't effect her specifically.
Anyone that doesn't agree list 1 time that Opelia did anything for any character in the game that is not for her OWN benefit, you know like birthday week Eva being banned is fine but Mallory that is over to help Sterling deal with his issue is less fine, she also admitted to only agreeing to Cathrin's demmands because Cath was succking her milk out so again to her own bennifit over her own Family, regarding the Mother's Day comment it wasacctually perfect timing to hate on the "best mom ever".
Had to edit to add one last joke of Ophelia's character "we can't do this it's wrong" to give Sterling a handy for a medical condition but a 4 second handy every morning before that was fine because it made her feel better, or diving on his dick to stop the cum from hitting the pillow is "a mother cleaning up after her baby" but giving him a hand job for a actual issue is "wrong" to her, if cum falling on the bedding is deserving of a blow job i'm surprised she didn't try throwing Sterling in the washing machine like bedding to get rid of his problem, or how it's fine to see her tits, suck her tits, see him naked but seeing a wet spot on her panties puts him in the wrong.
End of my rant i enjoy the story, game is good Ophelia as a character is just baffling.

In storytelling there's a concept called "conflict". Without it, characters can be unnaturally agreeable, which makes the story boring. An interesting story is a key reason people play these games instead of just looking at porn. If all you want is an easy mode magic dick simulator, there are plenty such games, but Power Vacuum isn't one.
