Personally, I think the question is not "whether or not it happened" but "whether it's NTR, NTS, or something else."
If the player character in some game were to fuck what we think is some guy's girlfriend, we can't really tell if we've cucked/NTR'd that guy until we know what their relationship is. What if it turns out they used to date but had an amicable breakup? Then we didn't NTR anyone. When he gets close to finished he usually says release will be the following month, but without specific dates. Then a few weeks later he'll drop the beta version.
