Other developers who update regularly, some of them very high-quality, don't even come close to generating a thousand. I don't understand humans. I understand why this guy still hasn't updated; why bother? The money keeps coming in.

I was a Thanks Dad supporter for years, until April, I don't think he should pause billing, if people want to support him still then let them. I do think he should have been more upfront about having issues (not specifics) so people can make a more informed decision. Regardless hope he's good and I still look forward to the game.

well I guess this game is abandon for now, but I do wish the Dev best of luck and I hope he gets better. Well um does anyone have any recommendation for other games to play

Well to all the folks who were preaching that the update is being worked on and it has to release soon, I guess you got your reality check, either way I expected it and im not that surprised, also he basically said that he made 0 progress in these past 4 months, Now not betting money on it feels like a missed opportunity.

It could also be that he is not satisfied with the ending and the madness is slowing him down too much, however I hope he is well and that he thinks about his health first

Well, there are two kind of answer to this question.
Version #1) When you lose your motivation to work on something that's not just a loss of little motivation. You basically drop it and leave it like that. Releasing what he has would require some more work, more focus. Even if little.. it's still something. Again, that is not how the loss of motivation works.
Version #2) If he in reality made very little progress throughout this 1.5 year and he was just leading everybody on it would, obviously, just embarrass and inconvenient him greatly. Why would he do such a thing. Keeping people in the dark means he doesn't have to come clean. It's in his best interest to keep people in the dark.

Anyone who pays could stop their payments anytime they want too. if they feel they are being "milked", they could stop without having to wait for WWG to stop it for them. If it's not stopped, those that WANT to support him can continue. So if he didn't stop this month, if people still wanted to support him, they could.

I'll remember some years ago I called this dev about the ratio of earnings/month - updates/year (he was making between 16 to 20k/month at that time). And the zombiefans jumped on me like enraged bitches...
