So close to the finish line and then boom
I dunno, if you count the epilogue updates which apparently are or were in the plans after the games ending than I would say we are far from the finish line. :HideThePain:

That aside I do agree that it sucks that life throws that of a curveball at the dev at the height of peoples anticipations. Myself included but honestly I would have waited until the epilogues were finished anyway before I started playing the last chunk of the game. Just to have the full experience.

I just fear that with this long of a recovery brake the motivation and inspiration of the dev plummets to the ground. For example just pushing out the last update but then axing the epilogues. Which would be a shame because in them we would have possibly got pregnancy content which I really like.

What I am saying is that returning to a project after a longer duration of time it's very difficult to get into the flow again. Be it ideas, scenes, writing or general motivation.

Anyway I wish the dev all the best and a steady recovery and I just hope for the best that the dev sticks the landing after his return.

Wouldn't it be better for the dev to just release whatever he has for now as he mentioned it was 93% completed. If he does have a serious health issue, he could just upload whatever he has done till now and tell that it will take atleast 6 more months until he starts working on the next update. It will definitely help him monetarily and also will stave off the relentless attacks on him from this community or fans

That's not a viable option. The game is comprised of multiple elements: renders, animation, dialogue, coding. The dev doesn't complete all these elements for each scene one-at-a-time. All the renders and animation for the entire chapter are probably finished, and those are MOST of the work. But without dialogue and coding, all we'd get is a bunch of folders of out-of-context visuals.

Would consider them victory laps if anything. The main conflict should be over. I think they'll just be glimpses into the girls' futures. If we ever get them.

And we already went through something like that with Skudd's Ben/Gwen animation. The end result was just pure disappointment and that was an animation 3+ years in the making as opposed to a VN.

The game is top, I played hundreds. But it's surprising why there is zoo, but no sperm eating or golden shower. All authors have different taboos)

I hadn't shared this with you guys, but my guts were telling me that this update would be released on September 15. My new source (cough...my ass..cough) tells me that the update has now been postponed until December.
