You realize other people can report posts, right? It's then up to the moderators on what to do about those reports. If people's criticisms were getting removed, it's probably because they weren't actual criticisms, or because they were adding stuff that counts as harassment of the devs or complaining about this sites moderators removing a message (which did happen with one of the people in this thread), or because they broke a rule in some way.
Sometimes the best thing to do with a project is abandon it. If the devs are actually learning things and improving their workflows there's very little that will be lost by just moving on. There's just pages and pages of comments of disappointed and apathetic people on here and I can't imagine it's any better in DMs or patreon comments. No one lives forever, don't let a mediocre dying game project bring you down with it.
Heads up to everyone: this apparently creates a folder in your /Pictures directory for no good reason.

It's there to be the screenshots folder, in case you take a screenshot in the game. It's not something needed, and doesn't make any files inside it so it's not taking up space or anything.
Yes, but I don't want weird folders popping up on my computer, empty or not. I bring it up for others so they can delete it, as I'm certain 99% have taken 0 screenshots.

I have Intel(R) hd 3000 and NVIDIA Geforce GT 720M graphics cards that clearly do not support vulcan video drivers. I am unable to launch
the game as it gives the error "Unable to initialize Vulcan video driver. maybe there is a way to fix this error. if so, which one?

Godot does have a flag to manually force OpenGL mode, But the developer uses a custom Godot build, so it may be disabled.
Said flag would be --rendering-driver opengl3
The only update they do is talk in their patreon and say that they are indeed "cooking"

Happy to inform you that, just this very day, I got to post an ACTUAL update. It's available through Patreon and Subscribestar, and in a few weeks, it'll be open to the public.
...then again, considering what this site is, I'm sure you'll be playing it before that. I'm glad to finally be able to make posts like that. With any luck, I'll be able to post more, and much more quickly, as it comes down the line.

The whole drawn 2.5D style for the maps is nice and all, but Amber's misaligned at the open "Purple = Good"-something door. Can't proceed.
Edit: Forewarning for anyone else trying the new build, ratboi saying "Uh Oh" during the security room dialogue has a chance of freezing the game.
Edit 2: Might be best to wait for v0.2.7.5 hotfix. Out on SubscribeStar already. Insert lyrics to that one Bonnie Tyler song here.

... somehow testing CTRL never crossed my mind. Kinda assumed S would be crouch if there was a crouch key.

Though didn't find much. Only other doors are a deadend coffeeshop with a WIP NPC, and a room with a radio and a "staff hallway" door which won't open. And the room locks you in. Prompt for leaving it is missing.
Edit: Forgot to mention the lack of a save feature btw. Whenever you get stuck, you get to enjoy the intro shibang before RNG-freeze Rat all over again.
