Well... I got a Nvidia card haha... it was the only solution. 2 RMA'd 7900 XTX's and tested them on 2 machines, yeah.... 7600 didn't time out on the same machine in the same games so it is 100% the AMD drivers in 7XXX series as the 7600 DOES time out for other people in some games.

Sucks, AMDs' hardware seems solid and great 7000 series wise, but these driver timeouts are insanely bad.

I saw a solution that suggested there is some fault in RDNA 3 and it didn't meet performance expectations, so they factory overclocked them so much the driver shits the bed and then by underclocking them like 10-15% you can avoid the issue. Not certain that's true, but I guess it doesn't matter because it feels bad to have to do when you're paying that much for a GPU.

Nah... I did every single potential fix. It's inherently an issue with the DX12 implementation int he software suite.

There's 3gb bite-sized portions of small bits of the game available on WebGL but they only have a few hour pint-sized bits of the main game usually focused to 1 quest.

Is it possible to retroactively modify Sa'id's fate with cheats/save modifications? I played the prologue on WebGL where I took him with me, but I skipped it when playing the downloaded version and it seems to have defaulted to him being left behind.

Patreon Crack is broken, remove it from page. Does not hook on v31.2, no pop-up window on startup, no config files in the BepInEx folder, or nothing. Either only works on Windows 11, is outdated, or the recent patch blocks it from working.

Edit: Nevermind, figured it out. For those having a similar problem, DO NOT RENAME THE ROOT GAME FOLDER. If need be put the root game folder in a renamed folder but make sure the root game folder is still named "PriceForFreedom_31_2_Windows" or whatever it is for the version.

Edit #2: I have identified the exact problem with the Patreon Crack not running: Don't put a semicolon anywhere in the folder names from the base drive of the computer (the C: or D: drives) to the root game folder (the PriceForFreedom_31_2_Windows folder). If you're like me and try to rename the root game folder to the game's exact name (using a semicolon in place of the colon since colons do not work), then BepInEx will refuse to run.

Is anyone else not a fan of the Aya & Dee stuff? I would be more okay if I didn't have to watch the scene but it the MC isn't involved at all & it makes it feel like the MC won't be a part of it at all.

I always hated how small the protagonist is in the main title. Seeing the dudes in the spinoff not did not help that at all.

I am happy for these Devs though- they've seen a bit of a boost in patreon over time. When I was subbed to them back in the day they were only at 8 or 9 k. #gains

Since release 30 the game kind of works with BepInEx again as it uses Unity 2022.3. This means:

• Those interested in Machine Translating the game with XUnity.AutoTranslator might attempt to do so again (note that the game supports some other languages, check it out in the options). I did a short test and it seemed to be working partially: hotkeys like Alt+0 don't work but most text seems to be translating.
• I'll release the Patreon Crack as a BepInEx plugin as it requires less effort to maintain.

Q: What is this?
It's a crack that enables patreon content and removes the code to unlock the gallery.

Q: How do I use it?
Place all files in the root game folder (same folder as PriceForFreedom.exe). If you see a console window when you start the game you installed it correctly. The first time you launch the game or when you update the game it will take longer to load as BepInEx is doing its thing.

Q: Can I use this on Mac/Linux?
No, works on Windows x64 only. You might be able to get it to work with Wine/Crossover/Proton/VM. But no plan to support more platforms from my side.

Q: Can you help me with ...?
No. Cracks are provided as is. If you have any issues consider supporting the Devs and their work. Free version with locked content is totally playable.

Hey, crack doesn't seem to work anymore. The console window opens, then closes, but the game is nowhere to be seen. And I get the following error log :

Damn homie, this game has PC, Mac and Linux before it has an android version

I'm not particularly a fan of RPGM looking type sandbox games though this looks interesting and looks like it would be less annoying than playing an RPGM game though again sadly there isn't an android version, hopefully one day it will be an android version and hopefully it isn't too much of a pain in the ass to make it android compatible
