No, its just there because its a market build. Not really a good thing to build the game in anyways. As Mac users can't use a market build without modifications anyways. So you could also just build PC and let Mac figure out how to rebuild themselves.

AFAIK, market builds just work for everyone. I've very rarely had issues with it working, and those issues are usually something weird in the system (ie. extremely long file paths, potato computers, etc.).

From what I was told. Mac needed modifications to run market builds. As those were just for Steam for example, that would install it and move the right folders.
Maybe it got changed, that would be neat. Makes it uploader friendly only having to upload one file.

Moving the files turns the marketbuild in a more Mac-like app and removes clutter. Better for the Mac user, more work for the uploader
You can run a market build on a Mac without reshuffling the files though. Gatekeeper will most likely block it, as it does with almost everything which didn't come from Apple's app store, but this can be fixed by the xattr command in Terminal.

The story is absolutely great... but for so many wholesome tags the sex scenes are surprisingly dispassionate and unemotional. Put it in, fuck me, come, next morning. That was Emilia's first time with the man of her dreams making her dream come true... put it in, shake her boobs a bit, done.

Since the moment they have decided to go the threeway the whole game seems to try to come to an end... just to then talk about being ready for a child for ages... until then you'd feel with the characters, be happy for them. But now it seems like the passion for the game is gone and it's just supposed to cure the plague, get the remnants a home and come to an end. I'm glad I'm not the only one. For a porn game, this game has a massive amount of text and talk about relationships and one single position sex scene per hour of gameplay. Also, I have never seen a character introduced at the start of the game take so long to get a single sex scene.

I mean this game isn't about sex it's a story first , relationship building game first and foremost. So it's not any surprise it's not even a porn game. Tho if you didn't read any reviews I can see why you would be surprised but idk for me from the first chapter I knew it was going to be like that. It would be weird if the just jumped into having sex right away especially given the world setting and Maria being nobility.

I think I was the first one ever to bring that up maybe a couple of months ago (?), I don't remember. And as I said back then, I was hesistant to do so because I loved the game and didn't want to sound like a hater.
But now I've seen half a dozen other users mention the same thing in the past weeks, and I wouldn't want the dev and other regular users to look at the finger instead of focusing on the moon when someone expresses their opinion on the sex scenes.

When someone points out that in their opinion the sex scenes aren't good, you should disregard any additional statement about this being a "porn game." This isn't a porn game, it is an adult story-driven game with sex elements. But that's not the point.
As I said back then, the fact that this is a story-focused game doesn't mean that the sex scenes can't be satisfying when they do take place.
Once again, the sex scene in this update was as poor as they have been since the beginning of the game. At this point, I'd rather the game didn't show any sex at all; I'd prefer it to hint that the characters are going to have sex, and then fade to black when they're starting to get intimate, like in old movies. I'd still love the game for what it is, for the characters and the story it's narrating.

As they are now, the sex scenes take away for the overall quality of the game. Months or even years of build-up for yet another letdown.
Lately, I just end up pressing Ctrl to skip them and that's a real shame.

It lacks passion and feels like development isn't fun anymore, just a chore to be done. The intimate scenes in the beginning were passionate, when MC and Maria got to know each other. Even when Emilia was (again) falling for MC it was nicely written and I could feel with her. But since Emilia joined the "couple" she's felt like a burden to the story (I don't mean the relationship), not a gain.

Regarding this porn stuff: The VN clearly isn't porn, I couldn't care less if there is explicit penetration or not. It lacks passion, care, interest, like Aristos said it could have just left out and it would feel more polished. But Emilia asking for getting rammed and used hard for her first time with her great love is just not credible.

The plot is great though.

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all are doing well and staying cool this summer. I have not been, since my damn office keeps heating up to 85+ degrees F when I'm running renders.
Besides the issue of slowly broiling myself alive, development is going fairly well on Chapter 23. If you couldn't tell from Chapter 22 or from the name - this is a big, important update. I'm not even done with the second scene (out of six) yet and I have almost half a normal update's worth of renders. This second scene will answer the lingering questions/concerns I know many of you have about a certain scene in Chapter 22 (IYKYK), so it's very important to me that I do it right. So far, I think it's come out quite well, so it's just a matter of continuing to grind out the renders.
In terms of release ETA, I'm hopeful/optimistic about end of July, but given how big and important this update is, that could very easily slip into early August (per the roadmap). I'll keep you all posted either way. Special renders should be out next weekend, and they'll be very thematic for the hot week(s) most of the US has been experiencing recently! Until then, you can always catch me on the Discord if you have questions.

great game. very few choices though. almost a kinetic novel, but that's not a bad thing here. the story is the focus. the adult content could be deleted from the game, and it would not make a difference to me.
I had a bit of hope that the character stats would matter. they only add a small amount of flavor, but break immersion several times. might as well remove them from the game, or remove the out of game explanation at least.
shout out to the proofreader. there is hardly any typo or error.
the writing quality if great. the weakest writing is actually the MC. he is almost bland compared to the other characters. Eve is a great addition to the cast.
