Sounds like you need some strong female influence in your life :)
Legacy _does_ look a bit like the T1000 in _Terminator 2_ after it enters its quicksilver/liquid metal state. But I don't see Panda suddenly transforming Maria into Sarah Connor. Sarah was a cool character, but she certainly did not favour the lacy underwear Maria seems to prefer.

I also don't see much danger of Maria suddenly busting out some righteous second-wave feminism on a bunch of creepy elders. Those dudes seem to have a sort of witchfinder general vibe that would tend to preclude a reevaluation of traditional gender roles. :geek:

Psssh! Witch hunting. How silly. Name ONE character that's been accused of and banished due to suspected witchcraft. :ROFLMAO:

Sounds like I have made comments about an imaginary character and not about other users' lives or needs, users that I don´t even know, because I´m not a rude person and because I don´t want that other users say to me, with good reason, that what they need or don´t need is none of my business. It´s basic civility, but apparently you don´t know that.
Oh absolutely -- you really can't take jufot anywhere. He's always busting out with impolitic third-wave feminism on wholesome pirate porn game sites. Dude just can't read the room.

As for Maria... fear not: I suspect that she is unlikely to evolve into Sigourney Weaver's character in Alien(s) unless she chugs that second vial and takes a graduate-level postmodernist course in gender studies from the 4000 year old AI circulating in her bloodstream.

Aha! Don't try to befuddle me, Padaman. No such character officially exists in your game! A certain handmaiden might have suddenly joined Maria's entourage, but I have no idea who she is! (Because Jason Bourne taught her to disguise her hair using his superspy tradecraft.)

So... to explore a safer topic for this thread. Is black-haired Emilia hotter than red-haired Emilia? I submit the correct answer is: black-haired Emilia. Discuss.

Ripley is a great character, at least in the two first movies of Alien´s saga. Great writing, from a time when writers did know how to write a good female character. She behaves and thinks like a female and has the motivations of a female for doing what she does. In the first movie her motivation is just surviving, but in the second one, is to protect a little girl. She doesn´t behave like a cliché "alpha male" with men, specially not with corporal Hicks, the male counterpart in the movie. Just like a woman that wants to save Nwet at any cost because of her maternal instinct, and that knows what to do.

I don´t see Maria as an action hero, but I will be glad if Maria is going to end up as a character as well written as Ripley in terms of behavior and motivations.

I was an asshole once and told Panda an idea I had for his story, turns out he was already doing exactly that. As I've told Panda, I hope it's great minds think alike, rather than fools seldom differing.

It's a brilliant idea, don't worry. I think people are going to enjoy it a lot.

All of them; it's all of them when it's posted like this. Like the sexist version of "I have a [x] friend."
Well, yes... but that's somewhat beside the point. The poster is entitled to lobby poor Panda that he should create a (boring, in my view) female LI who should behave according to his (cave manish) preferences. Fair enough. Personally, I believe that Panda should insert a massive vore-oriented subplot... and keep IMing him to that effect... but the Dev insists on writing revolting hand-holding scenes instead. Gross.

What I find more objectionable is the poster's insistence that since women would not behave in certain ways in a the social context prevalent in Europe during the Middle Ages, Panda should avoid creating LIs with characteristics that don't fit that context. That would be fine, if (A) I had confidence that our traditionalist poster had a command of the relevant historiography, and (B) Panda were creating a game set in Europe during the Middle Ages. Astoundingly, neither A nor B apply.

Panda's job is to define a world (including a social context) that has certain characteristics and rules... and then stick to those rules. Players are then free to whinge all they want about Panda's choices.

Panda _has_ manged to disappoint my demanding friend jufot with this latest episode, which is generally not a good sign... but I'm still enjoying the game despite its bizarre and unjustifiable lack of vore.

I'm not too worried about jufot being a bit disappointed - it's simply a case of not knowing what's coming next. Given his concerns, I think he'll love what's coming next. Well, hopefully all of you will, but you know what I mean. Also, no vore.:sick:

I mean, I'm not actually worried, you know. As I've said before, your writing so far has been quite excellent, so I'm more than willing to give you the benefit of the doubt :) Really looking forward to chapter 8!

For Chapter 7, it'll be publicly released for a short period of time before I need to shut that down for Steam reasons. In the future, leaked links may end on F95 approximately 72-96 hours after the Patreon release, IDK. I don't control what people do. I do recommend and request you support the game ($15 on Steam when it releases or minimum $3/mo on Patreon), of course. I'm putting in a LOT of hours (an average of 25-30/week on top of my full-time IRL job) and investing literally everything I've made from Patreon into the game. I've spent at least $5k on hardware upgrades alone, forget about software, assets, etc. But if you can't afford to support, then I'm sure a pirate will help you out. :)

Just for reference... quite a lot of us are also your supporters.
