Did you unpack the game? If so, that's almost certainly the issue. Otherwise, try buying the game - I suggest the Steam version (on sale now!) given the error - then pinging me for help.

I'm happy to discuss the game and read feedback on F95, and even help people if something is wrong with the game, but I do have to draw the line at people pinging me on F95 because they messed up unpacking my game they pirated.

it's ok to ping you to say I enjoyed the latest epilogue, right? Because I really did. Legacy's backstory was much different than I expected it to be. Was it ever hinted that he was a transferred consciousness, not AI? because if so, I missed it. Maybe he lost too much of himself staying online for all that time and needed eve to remember.

Not sure if my feedback counts since I only pirated a couple updates before I bought it on steam.

Last one, I promise. This one actually turned out pretty well. My apologies for using Pandaman's renders as practice but it is only because I admire them. I think that AI animation can be viable for VNs, but it has a way to go.

I did notice that. It seems like the AI had to improvise since the hand came from out of frame and gave her some purple sci-fi armor. These are little things that have happened while I've been testing the animations on Kling AI. Nearly every one so far has something wonky about it. Although the purple arm is not as unintentionally hilarious as Maria's Joker laugh or Emily's dancing backpack.

Maybe I'm easy to please, but those AI animations are higher quality than what you can find in 80-90% of all games on this site. Even with the problems they contain. They are certainly smoother than basically any "normal" animation in Daz games I've seen, those feel like mannequins moving around in the vast majority of cases.

Dunno whether that says more about the games or how far AI has come.

I have never used and thus have zero clue about video AI tools, so the following might sound dumb to people in the know: I wonder if it is possible to render some key frames and have the AI render animations to link the key frames up, might fix some of the worst problems.

All that said, I wonder if (or more likely: how long until) AI is the way forward for more or less all animations in AVNs, whether it is because they are quicker to render or higher quality or both, compared to "normal" animation work, seeing as devs seem to struggle to get this right based on what we can see in many (Daz) AVNs.

I thought that the ending of the game would have a huge plot twist about Legacy and Eve's cooking up a secret plot to take control of their hosts or something.
I'm not complaining about the happy ending, although it feels like the game is just slashed in half. I wanted to see more of the world, more character stuff, more sex scenes, and more Legacy and Eve. So now i'm left with a bittersweet feeling.

Happy July everyone! I hope you've all enjoyed epilogue 3 and are ready to hear about epilogue 4. This dev update will be about epilogues 4 and 5 in particular, and I'll save next game news (spoiler: you'll get to see some of the assets I've made) for another dev log, since it's not quite ready yet.
Epilogue 4 and 5 will be the last updates for PoP, barring any bugs or other glaring issues that come up unexpectedly. Epilogue 4 will feature a certain redhead's birthday party, with lots of lewd scenes regardless of your romance path. Obviously, throuple and harem paths will involve giving Emilia a very specific kind of birthday gift, while the solo path with Maria will get a post-party scene with Maria. I'm sure you can put two-and-two together to figure out what kind of gift Emilia would like on the throuple and harem paths (or how Maria would like to spend a late night together), so I'll leave it at that.
Epilogue 5 will be the finale of the epilogues and will be titled, quite fittingly, "Babies and Weddings". Honestly, I'm not sure what else I can say that you can't already figure out from the title. We may or may not have a lewd scene in Epilogue 5 - it depends on how everything flows within the narrative and if it makes sense in the context of the scene.
For release timelines, I'm planning something slightly different than usual (in a better way). I'll be taking some trips in August with the wife (a college reunion-type thing and a trip to celebrate my 30th birthday), so the initial plan of releasing Epilogue 4 in mid-August just won't work. Because of that, I'll be releasing Epilogue 4 in early August, then releasing Epilogue 5 in late September/early October as originally scheduled. Hopefully you don't mind getting Epilogue 4 roughly a week earlier than planned, and if you do, you can always wait until August 15th to play it then.
TLR - Epilogue 4 out early August instead of mid August, features Emilia's birthday and lots of lewd scenes. Epilogue 5 out late September/early October (as scheduled), features babies and weddings.
