Ok, so I'm just going to ask a question that's been bugging me for quite a while.

Does anyone else have a problem with how fake Maria's nipples are? I swear way back in the beginning, the first time you saw her topless, they didn't look like that. But at some point pandman changed them and to me they don't look real. They look like nipple shaped stickers that were applied to her breasts.

The complete absurdity of how they look throws me off every time there's a sex scene.

I am running into this issue early in the game, I am assuming that the MC's set name is supposed to appear there? The MC's name appears properly on the slide before this, and the error persists for 2 more slides after this but then it returns to normal. I did un-rpa the game and installed the walkthrough mod...not sure if that is the cause of this or what but yeah. error.png

Expected behavior. You'll figure out why soon.

I hope the harem route has at least a scene of Ana talking to the MC about the harem. Considering that she is the only living relative, I think it would be interesting and fun to see what she thinks about this situation.

The island village that got wiped out by the plague, or the remnant "village" that the raiders caught up to? :)

A plague showed up in her village, and Emilia's mom (a herbalist?) tried to help the village. Her mom found the village elder defiling a corpse and tried to report it to the church. The Inquisitor's came down on her mom as a heretic, to protect the faith, and banished Emilia off the island for being somewhat aware of what had happened. She wasn't able to confirm everything until you get the book from the Inquisitor's headquarters.

Not 100%, but my rough paraphrased memory.

P sure the plague itself got her mom and it was Emila who found the churchman in flagrante deceased-o. (Later on, after she buried her mom.)

Did the village elder cause the plague somehow? like contaminating a well or something. Because in chapter 24 the high ecclesiarch mentions that the village elder inadvertedly poisoned the village, i'm wondering how. Also i know its a long shot but do you happen to remember the chapter emelia talks about this?

Hmmm... that sounds familiar. She was banished because of what she figured out... I may have forgotten how her mom was involved. Been a while since I was that far back in the story, I can try and pull up the code to check.

Emilia's village on the island.

Yes, I believe it was the village Elder's fault, and it was *possibly* related to the dead bodies he enjoyed. The church covered it up to keep the leadership and Ecclesiarchy (spelling?) in power and unchallenged. Emilia found out about it, reported it, and was banished to keep things going as per their "normal". When you get to the Inquisitor's headquarters and find the book, she finds out a lot more info with the MC, and even confronts the leader when they get back to the capital who confirms it.

So I'm near the beginning of chapter 10 and there is something that is troubling me a lot about the story to the point where I find the game more annoying than enjoyable. I find Legacy is a major problem...impossible to trust. For all we can tell(at least at that point in the story) he's making the whole thing about the fertility plague up or at least using the situation to start experimenting with spreading to other people. It made it exceedingly clear it is not above emotional manipulation, blackmail, or even death threats to get what it wants and we don't know what it really wants...at all. The MC and the primitive society with zero understanding of even basic technology or science are way out of their depth if they had to deal with a super advanced hostile AI and he doesn't see humans as any better than parasites. I really HATE how much this underlying narrative is dragging on in the background with practically zero real answers.

You're at Chapter 10 of 25. There's still a lot of information you have yet to learn. I'd withhold judgement for a while longer.

Are you enjoying the story otherwise? Chapter 10 is probably about 1/3 or so of the full story so you've got a ways to go and twists to discover.

I don't know. The romance side is good but the Legacy issue looms large over everything and its intentions are impossible to determine. Even as a player with a fair understanding of most of the terms and issues Legacy's talking about it's impossible to know what's truth, what's manipulation, and what its true intentions are. Way too many unknowns. It would be much better to at least know for sure what is going on. There are also zero meaningful choices...most VN's have at least SOME choices here and there when you can at least optimize some outcomes or have some impact but here there's literally zero...there are too few of even meaningless dialogue choices.

There's meaningfully choices that come up. But there are fewer choices in general because there's no relationship points or whatever and because there's fewer LIs than many AVNs.

It's best to think of it as a kinetic novel with occasional significant choices.

Well at least I feel a lot better about Legacy now that I've seen the scene where it's trying to fix its companion. At the very least I now feel that in this story it's extremely unlikely that Legacy is malicious. Though it may deny it Legacy's goals now appear far more human and potentially benevolent than anything else. It seems to want its companion back, likely because of love. And his goal in assisting the MC also seems to be about preventing humanity from returning on a self destructive path. At least for the purposes of a romance centric VN like this I now feel fairly well that Legacy will almost certainly not be an enemy.
