the story will pick up where this one left off (with some potential time-jump maybe?), but it will likely be a different kind of game, include some management sort of thing, building up the trading post, remnants, etc. I imagine a conflict with the og islanders is in the cards too.
the game doesn't have a very strong harem aspect (and even that is towards the end) so don't get your hopes up too much about it

Game 2's been simmering away in the back of my head for years now, and Game 3 (if/when we make it there) has been simmering for even longer, so I really want to pursue these ideas. I think they'll be pretty great, so hopefully you'll follow and support Game 2 when it comes out!

I'm intentionally leaving the door open for me to return to the world of PoP some time in the future, because I think there is more to explore, but... Not any time soon. Frankly, after nearly five years of working on PoP, I'm ready to change things up creatively and explore new worlds and new ideas.
So you're saying the Dev labeled the game harem but not really a harem theme? So something like ProjectSPEC where the main Li gets jealous of other females but slowly comes to accept it?
It wasn't a harem for the longest time and if you play it you will see most of the game doesn't even feel like one. Most of the game there is only 2 LI the other female characters come in pretty late to the story. So to me it never had harem in mind but rather was added as a last minute addition or something
Harem was planned for a while, it sat in the genre section of the OP for a lot of updates. The harem just doesn't come together until late in the story, as you know.
ok, so there is a harem ending, it's true. But, all of that happens late in the game. And yes, Maria the first main LI is initially jealous, but gets over it eventually (if you're interested in this route). That being said, it's still not your typical harem game. At most you'll get with 4 women. And for the majority of the game, it's only one. The (I'd say) secondary LI is involved a lot in the story, but only gets intimate quite a bit later on. The other two are included in the story somewhere midway, but only get involved sexually at the very end. And it's not really a romance thing like the first two.
Hey Pandaman, I just finished the latest update, it's so cool to see the girls pregnant bellies, there is nothing sexier than a pregnant woman carring your baby, it's the only time that my wife wanted sex more than I did lol, anyway, Pandaman you've done an excellent job with this game, I enjoyed it so much that when the last epilogue comes out I might replay the entire game, I would love to know where you came up with the idea to create Maria, she is one of the most beautiful characters that I've ever seen in a VN game, she is just exquisite, she would be the reason to replay the entire game, I assume that epilogue 5 will be the last? What a shame, I know that you're burnt out from working on this game for 5 years but man oh man the possibilities to take this game further is captivating, thanks for all your hard work
Kinda. It's more like Epilogue 4 after Chapter 25 (which is the main story ending).
Yeah I stopped playing after the cure for Maria . For 2 reasons honestly I wasn't a fan of getting pregnant there would of wanted it to happen later since it didn't feel like a time in a place for it other than testing if it worked but I understand it was needed for the story. ( tho that is just my personal preference )
So other words, it's best to ignore the game for now until it's completed? I'm about to start Chapter 7 lol.
