I only discovered this game a few days ago, and it had enormous potential. And the way things were going, there could have even been sharing or NTR, but the wife was very loving and truly loved the MC.

We did not even touch the story about his 2 sisters and his mom yet.
The dev was one of the most talented story writers I have seen, but he had an overinflated ego. Instead of building his followers one by one, little by little. He told them he is God tier good, and if everyone does not subscribe immediately, he will stop this game immediately.
Instead of telling everyone how good he is, he should have shown everyone how good he was. And that takes a lot of time, trust and goodwill.
I firmly believed if he stuck to his guns, kept his head down and just finished this game, he would have been one of the most popular developers on this site.

It's a shame it ended that way, isn't it? It always happens that someone is too arrogant. This developer really had talent and a lot of it. It's a shame he got lost in complete arrogance. He would certainly be one of the best and most well-known for the quality of his games; the others are good too.

I did a quick check on my previous post where I compared Silk and Milk to another similar developer.
WillTylor had 100 subscribers after 9 months
SilkandMilk had 100 subscribers after 14 months
Will Tylor now has just under 1000 subscribers (971). Excluding 2000+ free subscribers.
And he is earning $6391 pm!
Now I don't know what target S&M had, but that is pretty good money.

The impatience is insane with some devs.
I mean, he's not the first and won't be the last but some of them drop a 0.1 and expect to be making bank.
I don't think they quite grasp it takes a while to build up a player base, they seem to think VN's are quick money and they really aren't.
Some get lucky sure, but if you come in with the arrogance this dev had and start putting people off then it's going to take even longer.
I don't know how in the holiest of hells he expected to get support for his second game when he started it by saying "if this doesn't get the support I want i'll abandon it"......
Yeah, that's going to make people pounce on that with their money.
So much talent wasted on an idiot.
