Except that isn't an option here, especially with Towercuck going out of his way to try and keep anyone else from being able to make a towergirls game or mod, despite his lack of any legal right to do so. People want a Towergirls game, they just don't want this one, and he stepped way out of bounds by exercising legal copyrights he does not own to try and prevent anyone else from making one. Towercuck brought this on himself.
Basically that you're replacing corporate decisions for patrons decisions. They both have negative effects for the games. I never understood that way of thinking. But it's your project, do as you please please. All I'm saying is, these kind of things will always bite you in the ass, whether it was made by suits or patrons.
What DownTheDrain still applies, though. If the game is so much not of your liking you can just give up on it and seek other games that are more fitting. If what you're saying is true and there is no legal right preventing anyone from making another game whats holding you guys from doing what you want?

Some people are just mad about every little fart they can smell from far away. Ignoring them is a good start, your patrons matter.
It's not only about likes or dislikes, it can even damage the reputation of your game. If you included this kind of content very far into development it would have balanced itself, but in this case it didn't, and as I can see it was one of the things that led to this problem. You also have to take in consideration who is really your audience at the time.
Hardly. If you are the developer you are the boss regardless of who throw money at you, which is why I insist this is just a replacement of suits, and if that's the case I can just stick to AAA games.
The choices I include in the polls are all choices I approve of, choices I know how to deal with, so I don't see what's wrong in letting the majority decide between options I'm fine with.
Nothing anymore, but that doesn't change what happened. A decent amount of progress was lost (or at least hindered) because of Towercuck's DMCAs and the mods not looking into things well enough to realize that he has nothing. We recovered fairly quickly and now the mods know to just ignore him, but that doesn't change the fact that he has actively tried to hinder the project because us not liking the way his game is going hurt his feels. He even tried again after we got his mess all cleaned up, but, like I said, the mods know to ignore him now.

Are you kidding me? It's like the main feature of the game compared to the rest of the content. It's 90% of the purpose of the lust stat. There's a reason why people insist you basically kill 50% of the game. And you still call ot battlefuck when it's battlerape. Now I'm actually mad.
