Some explanation from the dev on Patreon about this situation:
Does old goblin is real father of the new princess? So drunk old princess with red nose made her daughter, the new princess, from her relationship with the old goblin? So the old goblin here is just going to save his own human daughter? Plus, I see, the old queen was also in love relationship with the old goblin.
I tried the game, I liked it, and then I kicked it out.
Reasons - why: I do not like engine, it is not Ren' Py, not comfortable to play.
It is hard to find during the playing, where is the button to save the game. Some necessary buttons and functions are, I have no idea, where.
I like the story, I like the idea, I like the painting style and quality. I will not play this game. Life is hard. C'est la vie.

So easy to find! (last but one button. Hoover over the buttons).
Easy for everyone who is able hit the "Esc" key.
Why kick it out when you like it. ...
I tried this button, it did not work on my computer. So no way to save the game. Then I go into the room with hens, screen became black, and game over. So I played again from the beginning. Story is mine, quality is mine, engine is not mine, bye.
Idk but my guess is an artist was doing the models for him at least for the princess, and he doesn't way to work with them anymore, which is why we now have strange plastic barbie princess with zero facial expression in 2.0

I make every model myself, including the princess. If you’re just here to whine about a new game or a different princess, feel free to find something else to do. Your negativity isn’t helping anyone here. Some people like the new princess, some don’t, so please move on.

Game is great. Model is great. Animation quality is also great, don't think there is a need to upgrade it. Either way, good luck on your project.
Wish for this model get carried on the next project , this princess is just right for me

I believe this is the game this one is based on. No animations, but pretty fun and it actually got finished.

It obviously doesn't. It just updated publicly. 3.3, today? Subs are on version 4.0 and has had a partial bug fix to 4.1 currently
There is active development. Hence my question what does, onhold mean? Perhaps it's confusion over the previous game version., where this lazy site hasn't updated its former status to the present game in active development? It used the same thread. Please remove that tag obviously, so people aren't put off.

PitT1 is "onhold" (even when called v1.0, its not finished),
PitT2 is active (0.3.3b and 0.4.1b)
