chuckybird2185 Is there a reason you are using an 0.11 alpha over the 0.3 demo linked in OP?

Btw, just know this is probably just forgotten text.
If you launch the game, set the language to english and launch it again, the title screen text will be that of 0.11 alpha so if I have to guess, the author just forgot to change the text for the translation after update 0.11.
As far as I know, you still have access to everything that is part of the 0.3 demo.

Quote directly from Patreon:

• The enemies and bosses are almost complete.
• The stage composition is almost complete, but not all of the backgrounds have been drawn.
• The story events are about 80% complete.
• The H-animations are more than half complete.
• NPCs and sub-events are still in the works.

At the same time, we are also working on the map chip and bosses for Area 3 at the same time.

Most of the enemies that will appear have already been completed, but we may add a few more to the list to see if we can find a balance.

It is difficult to give a concrete percentage of completion, and I hesitate to say anything too definitive, but personally, I am aiming for a release sometime in the first half of next year.

Alrighty. Took my time to download all previews that Patreon had to offer and throw them into my Google Drive. All pretty great stuff. 2024_06 and 2024_02 are noteworthy because those are actually first attempts at a gallery. But it's all great stuff, especially the robot and the drone. 2023_11 is also noteworthy, as it is a first attempt at x-ray, and they nailed it.

But in all seriousness, if you can spare the 5 bucks, buy the membership. This quality and consistency definitely deserves it.

Zavesys If you truly believe you could play "several MMORPGs and recent multi platform titles without ever needing those files", then, ironically, the reason you believe that is because the software you think you "never needed" is already installed and working as intended. My impression thus far is, frankly, that you have no idea what you are talking about. Your advice is based on flawed logic stemming from lack of understanding. My "no" was not about whether I was going to follow your advice, but rather that nobody should follow it, because that is, simply put, bad practice.

Also, "your computer - your choice" should only apply to people understanding at least in part what they are dealing with. That is known as "being informed". And people looking for help are, by the very definition of their actions, unable to make an informed choice. Like, for example, understanding why the copy of the game represented by your folder is presumably working just as fine as the copy I have:

P.S. Why are you ignoring the fact that he/she uses an early alpha demo? It used an earlier version of MSVCR and the respective DLLs; the version linked in OP uses an updated one (and IIRC the demos after that - yet another).

I'm not sure why you're choosing to be so contentious...

You asked where I got it, I shared and made a comment as to how I've never needed these files to play random games as well as how I would dispose of such files since I only downloaded it to help them.

If you wanted to simply say they had the wrong version of the game, you could of tried harder to inform them instead of responding to me and NOT helping them.

My post to you was aimed at making sure you understand the "why"s rather than being limited to the "what"s. Whatever negative words you use to mask it as, all I see is insufficient knowledge about the subject you advise on. Them asking about their version of the game is exactly why I asked them about their version of the game - something you seem to have missed. Maybe they had a reason for using it. I am not in the habit of helping without knowing what I am dealing with, simple as that. Such premature "help" tends to do more harm than good. "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread", as the saying goes. They never got back to me with an answer (which I later obtained from another unrelated user, and learned something myself). And since the person in question never reappeared - nothing to work with, here. How do you help someone who is not there?
