You and me both, bro. I've been listening to this absolute banger, ever since I found it, posted by another Chad in this forum.

This game is unironically going to be one of the best metroidvanias out there.

Even if the smut wasn't there, the atmosphere and gameplay is just a lot of fun.


I post all of my stuff here, directly from the patreon posts, since I am a patron.

The dev deserves all the help they can get and if I didn't post this stuff, somebody else would, so with this hopefully I can get some people to do the same as I and support artists that deserve it.

Their patreon only has a 5 bucks tier for everything, which is a steal, given their consistency and quality.

I do feel still cold feet due to PURE ONYX, which is so my thing, to suddenly change engine for unite6, which now i can't play at all. Which in my opinion was big black dick move. I started to think about everyone funding this game, and people were playing to now, have a middle dick finger on everyone. "if you want to play it, change OS"

now, hope, its not the case here. I have read every page in here (yes, that's how invested i am on this <3 ) and everything seems and feel so solid and fun. I am eager for this release , and no engine change, please. xD

・Final area map chips and background (90% complete)
・Final area level design and gimmicks (20% complete)
・Last boss animation and implementation (60% complete)
・Main story implementation (50% complete)
・Sub-event implementation (30% complete)

thats the progression so far and compared to last month the "Final area map chips and background" was at 60% and "Final area level design and gimmicks" was at 10% so im not sure we will get the release this year tbh

I'm unsure if this is some kind of bait or joke, but to answer your question you have to use the C key to accept and the X to cancel.

I've been playing with no keyboard

Cannot start the game, after clicking on .exe file the window pops up for few seconds and getting closed, could the problem be connected with some c++ libraries or smth?

for me it was some old microsoft visual c++ redistributable library

The problem is that it doesn't return any error, the window simply closes without any notification.

whats your windows, 11? on my new installed 10 it showed an exact error code-label
anyway just install 2010-2013, maybe 2015+ too, versions and try to launch

I have Windows 10 also new
Tried reinstalling all the redistributables, even those from 2005 and 2008, but nothing changed. I try to run player.exe, and it closes a few seconds after opening. Could the problem be with the .exe file itself, since it has quite uncommon name but there is no other executable files

1. Maybe your system is missing some DLL from DirectX 9.0C that Princess Reconquista is using? Windows 10/11 don't have DirectX 9.0C by default, so you have to install them by yourself. Try install package called "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)" from microsoft site.

2. Try and disable "fullscreen optimizations" in registry (search guides in google how to do it), fullscreen optimizations can cause a lot problems with gaming, like instant crashes, games don't run at all, low fps in games, etc.

3. You can also try and enable "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5" on your machine in Windows Features.

4. Maybe something is wrong with game path? Try put game to location like D:\Games\Princess Reconquista, or something similar.

5. Disable microsoft defender antivirus and smart screen, then try run game.

Don't know what else could be this cause. On my Windows 11 24h2 (26100.1742) all games works without problems with all things set up from above.

Just use GAME RIPPER.
1. drag'n'drop the game's (or demo's) folder on its window
2. click on the "Scan for sprites" button

This will reveal all content, even the ones that are not yet referenced in the game scripts. So all hidden content as well.
