As previously mentioned, game only runs in a Japanese language emulator. Like Locale Emulator. File link is in this thread somewhere. Changes to your OS to use Jap Locale doesnt work. Use emulator. If I try to run this game with japanese locale and even as an administrator, it just gets greyed out and tells me that the game is not working. What to do?
Because loli's triumphs all...Why it has to be a loli ...
Japanese law. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯why all the new games are censored ? i mean what's the point it's a game...
This game is UNIQUE. i dont see any games like this. Yukari games and Flower Princess Lulu maybe has same vibe but it still lack interesting points.Does anyone know any simillar games ?
I dont like normal rpgm games but the way this is made is very nice!
It's frustrating as all hell, because while Japanese society as a whole (at least the under-40 demographic) has super liberal views on sexuality, Japanese politics are so stiflingly status-quo and "face" based that even politicians who are sympathetic to such views don't even try to promote them because it would immediately torpedo their career.Yeah, Japanese Article 175 of the Criminal Code,
"A person who distributes, sells or displays in public an obscene document, drawing or other objects shall be punished by imprisonment with work for not more than 2 years, a fine of not more than 2,500,000 yen or a petty fine. The same shall apply to a person who possesses the same for the purpose of sale. Including recording media containing [obscene] electronic or magnetic records."
Japan has a long history of censorship. in the 1950's they convicted the translator of the novel "Young lady Chatterly". 2004 was the first convictions of manga creators. Two artists were arrested and convicted. Each received a Y500,000 fine, and one of them a 1 year suspended prison sentence.
This is why nearly all porn and hentai published in Japan includes censorship of some kind. There are very few ways around this, for anyone producing content within Japan. One method is to have a Japanese version and an International version of content. But they must be careful to not be found in violation of showing or selling obscene materials. So it gets tricky.
Japanese Censorship is actually a fascinating subject, worth a couple minutes to research.
In regards to this game "Princess Sacrifice", it is a legitimate game that was produced and published in Japan in 2013. So naturally it would be under the full restrictions with the 'official' released title.
Move the game to a shorter path that contains only 7-bit ASCII characters (i.e. `C:\hgames\feena\`) and switch your OS to use Japanese codepage for all non-unicode programs. You really should do that if you want to play japanese h-games.Does anyone know how to resolve this error?
