Well, I won’t say that this game was highly anticipated by me. But the update as a whole pleased with the scenes with Vivian. Both by the scenes themselves and their well-made angles, and what was still a little surprising, but in a good sense of the word, was the options for choosing who these scenes would be with. I won’t say that this is something new, but I haven’t seen such variability from developers for a long time (there are as many as three choices, and all of them work)).
Keep it up! If only there was more content for this game it would be absolutely great.)

For people who have been frustrated since the beginning of the novel by a lack of answers, on top of being told frequently to just accept what's going on whenever you ask any question, you can likely imagine they would be tired of waiting.

Which is what makes people frustrated about this particular novel, the lack of resolution. Possibilities are strung along, and there's only so much you can ask of an audience, as hope and the promise of answers are dangled just out of reach.

Listening for smaller or aesthetic things from the community is one thing. When it's about something in the story itself, it should be extra content, or only a minor change that doesn't have a major impact on the narrative.

To be blunt, I hope the dev does their own thing. Overall story elements should remain firmly within the author's grasp.

To each their own. Imo a dev should take in feedback and make changes that both suit the story and get as many people into it as possible.

If you need to possibly upset a small subset of people to appease a larger audience sometimes that has to happen.

We are coming up on a year in development for this game, and it has seen 3 pretty significant changes so far and the dev still only has 30 subs, so something isnt clicking with this game for more people.

Devs that sit firmly in "my way or the highway" mindset tend to not last very long and projects just dont get completed when they fail to attract new subs.

Have you tried to update the new version over an old one? If so, try a clean install (delete everything in the folder that contains the .exe file, then unpack the archive in an empty folder)
Also, try starting a new game, save it in an empty save slot, go forward some dialog lines, then load it. If this works but you can't load old saves, or save from loaded old saves, then those are too old and now incompatible and you have to restart

nothing works guess I'll have wait for next update or give the game up altogether

I know you're just trying to instigate, but support from me makes a difference. For games I think are worthy, I typically sub at higher tiers and don't only do so for when the update drops. It's pretty consistent. And then, I often provide beta testing, replay and image gallery services for those who need it and any coding expertise. Winning me over does provide some perks for some devs that wish to use them (currently 6-7).

I was talking to my boy Joshy and someone left a smart-ass remark. I simply explained why my support isn't just "Patreon #31" as they put it. I'm not giving dev a hard time, I'm not review bombing, or reporting the Patreon for questionable content. Not sure how withholding support until I know dev will include certain planned content is blackmail.

Last thing i can think of, is that there's a problem with the archive you downloaded; if you want to try, download again the official, uncompressed version and try again

Right...we are almost a year into this game and its gone through 3 fairly significant redo's and the dev is gaining like 1-3 subs per update. Meaning maybe appealing to the 3 people subbed isnt the best way to go for a games growth if that isnt leading to more people.

But hey, if a mediocre product with no support is what the goal is then by all means.

In this mod, Kristina is the MC's true sister and they have the same parents now. They already act like incestuous brothers and sisters most of the time so it wasn't difficult to make it official

Yummy. I really wish devs would go all-in with their incest kinks in their AVNs or not bother with them at all (same for stepcrap and regular porn), 6MB mods like this shouldn't be necessary (no wonder their Patreon is only making $150/mo). Most devs that wanna avoid incest simply kill off the whole family at birth and have the MC living in an orphanage (though just the background setup of that is yawn-inducing to me).
