Well, I may be hated by some for not sharing, but it seems something I had mentioned to the people interested in a way, patch or something else to keep for the future the incest in (like me
), is happening sooner rather than later.
With what Anthony does at the start of chapter 3 there is no way you can keep the incest with Marc in.
After that, it seem there is only way in which it could be possible to have in future Marc back in the history, though to be seen how much keeping to try doing some "naughty activities" that were especially interesting for some players (whether as dominant or sub):
1) For the people with the incest in mind, modifying a bit the text description at start of chapter 3, so as to change, or make more ambiguous, any reference to the idea of Marc not being also Myriam's son;
2) The "no incest" game making in future a reference to Myriam, through her father's lawyers, managing to have the court consider Anthony as unfit as parent, losing parternal authority on Marc, with her asking and obtaining from the court of being legal tutor for Marc (it would be stretched, but not completely far-fetched), which would bring Marc back in the home;
2a) In a version more brutal in some aspects, less maybe convoluted in others, Myriam giving some money to Anthony so he does not make opposition to her request of becoming legal tutor for Marc;
3) I am a bit playing on the words like many lawyers , but being legal tutor is not "adoption", e.g. children who are taken away from their parents can be placed in temporary houses, which can be a kind of institution but also a family and are effectively legal custodians of the kids, but they are not their parents (unless they also adopt them);
4) Point 3) means that at that point, in the "no incest", Marc would be living with Myriam and Katherine, would be under the authority/responsibility of Myriam, but would not bring back any mother/son relation, not even step-mother, so it may be enough to keep Patreon happy even if stuff happens with Marc (though would also avoid the bullshit "tenant" stuff );
5) The variable incest would still refer to that type of situations (so, no change in the programming and variables till now, and can still use the values from past saves), and if there is again the confession and stuff like that, she could refer to the fact of being "like a mother for him", "responsible for him" etc.
6) In the "incest is back" version, aside what indicated in point 1), for point 2) the text could be modified so that it is more a matter of custody over the children and Myriam getting back her son, and for points 4) and 5), the text would be modified so that anything happening between Myriam and Marc, is effectively happening between mother and son, and referenced to in that way even to e.g. the priest.
Before anybody asks, the above is not something I asked about to Zorlun, nor I intend to - he already had to get in too many exchanges about this.
Anyway, it seemed Marc was out, then even after Patron intervention there was a reference to future content with Marc, now I don't know, but without content, no way anybody can put back any incest in story.
Also, remember the two rules of thumb:
1) Zorlun does not object to modifications of the kind I suggested, but if you do them, do them for yourself on your hard disk, no distribution, he is doing the game, the story and the pictures, and needs to live off it;
2) The above means modifying the files with the text, so, it is done at your risk and peril, do a backup of the original file, or use an editor that does it automatically for you, when doing the modifications, so if renpy complains, you can go back (don't rely only on the "rollback" function of renpy).
