No, I'm not part of his 'crew'. I just read all the posts. I visit this site pretty much everyday, and since this is one of my favourite games, I have a keen interest in what people have to say about it, especially the Dev.
This was what Zorlun actually said earlier today, when asked if there were any imminent scenes with Hammer:
And bearing in mind that Myriam described her meet-up with Crystal as a 'date'. Does this mean she is going to be one of those potential partners? Not one of the ones I would have expected. I was thinking Cleavon, Charles, Lucy and possibly Nubia?
As long as you have the patched ( incest) version, it's still pretty much the same game as it used to be. Personally, I never went back to it, because it's obvious what the relationship is supposed to be. Myriam treats Marc as if he's her son, her and Evelyn act like their sisters. It's not necessary for it to be in black and white, because the game started off that way, and but for Patreon it still would be that way. The change was forced upon the Dev, it wasn't something that he wanted to happen.

You create lots of paths for us to choose what kind of woman Myriam will become in our playthrough BUT as the writer and the creator of her story I'm pretty sure you have your own idea on what the "real" Myriam is. I mean, with all these ideas you're throwing at us you're creating several different versions of Myriam, for you witch one would be the "canon" one? The one you would choose if you were creating a KN instead of a VN or writing a book about her story for example.
Would you choose the submissive and abused Myriam who stays with Anthony, the strong one who kicks him out and tries to live simply with the children and is afraid of relationships, the one who gets free of Anthony and tries to find a loving partner to get the love she deserves, the one who enjoys her new freedom and explore her sexuality, the one who loses control and tries everything on every occasion to feel alive again after being abused for so long or the one who gets into trouble for caring too much about people when nobody really cared about her when she needed it? Or maybe another versions of Myriam that didn't come to my mind this late in the night?

They are all Myriam, each choices is part of her, each one feeding a different side of her, but still her, after that you can go the multiverse way and imagine that each choice is creating a new universe with a different Myriam of course. ^^

Not really. This is picking up from last chapter.
The first scene is a short one, revolving mainly around Myriam having a little drinking time with Eve, followed by her possibly starting herself on social media -that's all there is- before leading to the next day with her having some potential naughty time with Marc and jumping on the main plot line of the update.
The second scene is a big one, revolving around the old perverted neighbor and him blackmailing Myriam, the scene is not necessarily long as it has a a few possible way to go about it, ranging from calling for help (will be followed later on) or confronting him, leading to a few possibility again, with some potential naughty moments, a bad ending or some resolution.
On the naughty side, a short scene with Marc around some morning duty on the Marc dom path, then another one in the second scene with two parts revolving around blackmail and abuse (no worries for those not into this, this fully avoidable).
The update is of a fair size and not too much dependent on previous choices for its content, though will vary highly depending on choices made during it, possibly leading Myriam to a new game over, her kicking butts, calling for help or falling down the rabbit hole.

I really appreciate you doing this. The more updates I play the more I'm suffering from fomo. I really hate missing any content and the way this vn is, I end up missing scenes that I see listed in the thread.
I'm going have to restart and get more organized playing this. So again thanks

In my humble opinion, this game (Project Myriam) is what A wife and Mother was not able to give us without updates every 6 months. Project Myriam does give us a real horny housewife looking for dick everywhere, to sum it up, Project Myriam is what A wife and mother was not.

I respect your POV. As a big fan of this vn I have to really thank you for not stopping and reworking things you consider mistakes but instead learning from them and just move forward while you continue to improve.So a few things in disorder:
- About Marc, he was always immature and not a real dom, it always was about posturing and acting up like he saw his father do or like he saw in some porn flicks, his notions of dom are more about the sexual domination and humiliation than anything else, the psychology of it goes for above his head. Don't forget that characters are not all omniscient and can be simply stupid and wrong, and before you go over the "yes but other characters are like that in the game", yes others are like that for nearly the same reasons, because they are stupid or because they don't have the notion of what a good dom and sub are supposed to be, if you want some more psychological domination, it'll come with the two characters Nubia and Charles, with Nubia it was already seen, with Charles it's in coming.
- For the neighbor, not everyone has to be a mastermind to be a vilain, and as you said, yes he is immature in his insults and behavior, there is no thoughts behind his machinations (meaning real planning). It was only hinted and not specifically said, but the old pervert doesn't have all his marbles anymore, and this whole situation is more of the ghost of what it could have been when he had all his capabilities, which is why everything crumbles when Myriam or Bill confront him. (Little trivia in passing, the old pervert neighbor was inspired by a very real old man by the way, an horrible old shit I knew who took pleasure in insulting and having the worst behavior possible to destabilize you, having his fun at your expense, honestly, good thing he's dead.)
- For the too much branching, can't agree more, but from the start this was the goal, not to have too much of course but to have a lot. I always was very honest on the experimental side of Project Myriam, and has I often said, it's my first game and I'm learning with every steps. Not that it's an excuse for anything, it's an explanation, I needed to see the limit of what I could do, how much road you can launch, how much characters you can add, how much branching, etc... It's simply interesting data for me, next games will definitely be written another way.
- For the fatigue, again, I agree, honestly, it's been three years on Project Myriam, and there is probably around a few years to go I think, best approximation would be two, I love Project Myriam but I want to work on other ideas too, as a big RPG tabletop guy, I yearn for some more "fantasiesque" settings, be it medfan, scifi, cyber, super, etc... But there is one thing I promise to myself and people who support me it's to finish Project Myriam first, and I will, it's necessary to prove that I can finish what I have started, that I am capable to get a project to its end and not drop it mid way.
- So to conclude on the two previous points, as I keep writing the game and push the development, I'm slowly starting to close some plot lines and trying to focus more on the important ones, some ideas hinted will probably not be touched as well, it's necessary to advance or the game will simply keep growing and would not take a few years but decades which is simply impossible.

To conclude again, always keep in mind that it's a first game and very experimental, some times I'm simply trying things out to see if it'll work, and some times the answer is "no, better luck next time". The game is full of errors and could be better, I won't pretend otherwise, it would be foolish, but honestly, I never thought in my wildest dreams when I started this game that it would get to this proportion, that it would get so much support, Project Myriam far exceeded my expectations and I learned (and keep learning) a lot with it, and for that I have to thanks the amazing support I had, which both gave me the motivation to work and the freedom to do so. So trial and errors be damn, I'll be finishing up this game and hope that people will keep enjoying the adventure. ^^
(A little thing in passing post second conclusion, one of the big thing I want to experiment on is the endings, since the start of the game I wanted to bring a multiple endings to it, based on choices and stats, and will be dedicating a full chapter on it, which should probably take a year just in itself.
Yes, the drop was because she doesn't enjoy the situation of course, and the stat changes for this update were most around psychology than kinks, that's all.
Most of the answer can be gleaned from the one to Power Broker, but I'll just add, no, I'm not going the multiple kinks way to attract people, since the start, and you can go look if you wish, I always said it was a bit like a shotgun blast, as a first game I wanted to experiment on a lot of levels, the kinks were one of them, I wanted to explore a lot of kinks, some that I like, some less so.
For the deadline remark, can't argue that it's stressful some times, but it's also a good motivation to work consistently.
I'm also glad you probably won't have so many branches in your next vn. Like I stated in a previous post this vn brings out serious fomo in me lol.
I do have one request since you wrote that pregnancy could be featured in the end. At least one scene with a pregnant Myriam being used, abused and humiliated would be stellar, maybe even a golden shower. A guy can hope...
I still miss the dynamic of her and Anthony but the scenes with Marc are a nice consolation.

Each version of Myriam is a strong stereotype for us to choose or mix to enjoy the game when YOUR Myriam just jumps from one path to another depending on the mood and occasion just like we all do in real life and that's how I usualy play all my MCs men or women.That's the reason I like your game. The fantasy situations are written to create the opportunities but I can just play it casual, I want to do something I do it, I'm not in the mood I don't do it. It fits almost perfectly the way I do everything in real life.
And speaking of the mood and occasion I surprised myself a few times doing something (sexual or not) I never thought I would do and never did again just because the occasion fitted the mood on that particular day and I was like "hey any other day I would have said no but today why not".
Man I love the way you let us play that game!
