To be honest, that entire kidnapping/barn thing was one of the extremely few things I didn't like about the game (still 5 stars though).

During this kidnapping story I kept dying over and over, was frustrating. Maybe ten game-over screens. I wanted to see as much content as possible but it was a maze of choices, most of which were too negative/violent ending in Myriam's death or injury. In the end I gave up on the story and just tried to get out of there. At least in it's current form I don't think it works so well.

EDIT: Well, at least the Dumdum anal scene was nice although short.

Depends a bit on the way you formed the character of Myriam. If she is a self-confident, dominant person, she will get through this ordeal without much harm. Still, was also doing some fast forward, as the sympathy you develop for the female MC got you tense to see, how she will escape.

Actually, from what I have seen, yes, there must be at least three game over possibilities, however, should also be pointed out that biting off (for those who have not yet played, you will understand when you see it) is not the only way for Myriam to get out.
I tried different choices, got myself more than one "bad ending", but also saw there is more than one way in which Myriam can be still alive and rescued at the end.

Also, when she goes online looking at porn, I had to modify so that there was also for her the choice to go look online for incest-themed porn .

You will have some work to do on the Anthony ending coming up this update, but I think it will be fairly easy to turn it back to the OGS. ^^

For those a bit lost: OGS (original game setting) is the setting I first started the game with, with Myriam, Anthony, Katherine and Marc being one family unit; opposed to the MGS (main game setting), which is the main setting I used later on for most of the game (it happened around mid chapter 1 if memory serve ) after Patreon went nuclear on my ass, where Myriam and Katherine come from one family unit and Anthony and Marc formed another.

Short additional input: The way I was doing the game/novel is more the novel approach. You have enough sex scenes, I was not forcing everything onto Myriam. On the contrary. I was even rewinding scenes, if the path development was not what I wanted to see Myriam in. Short example: When returning the brief case of the spy, you might end up in the room, Myriam starts dressing as a hooker and then it was clear what will come. So I went back, Myriam was going the path to push the briefcase in the arms of the spy and left. Got me my 2 points will power. Myriam - even if she lies unconcious beside the truck in the dirt at the end of the current version, has in my novel a lot of will power and domination points. I want her to be the strong, self-confident person - in my version of the novel. Others might see it more as a game and look for as many sex scenes as possible, I see it differently. But in any way, have fun and enjoy.

I get your point and find it interesting because I want the exact opposite for Myriam. I want her totally submissive, weak willpower, used and taken advantage of by tons of guys. For me that's super hot. Especially when Myriam submits, starts to love the rough gangbangs, passes out from pleasure, and the guys still keep fucking her.

So yeah, people like different things heh

You have made this a classic and though some people won't be happy with parts of it, there's still enough content to make My's journey enjoyable to play, which is hard to do when there's only 5 or 6 branches, let alone a possible 30. Way to go Zorlun, I can only wish that my story, when it's finished, will be half as good.

I don't think it'll be too hard to start a new game and just skip through everything up to that moment, or is the game meant to go on a long way before that ending comes to be?

Well, I think the most challenging things till now where the Dr Silver thing and the court case situation, though in a way, in reverse order.

I mean, for Dr Silver, had to modify the menu making sure nothing was broken and think something adequate for the Dr to say.
For the court case, I had to change more text, and think a bit, but I still think it was somehow simpler for me to make something somehow "realistic", than for you, since the "divorcing couple custody battle" (when not directly war) is something that unfortunately happens often.

"Unfortunately", because if the children are still young, it can be very traumatic for them, and the adults involved often completely ignore the possible consequences for the kids of the way they behave, especially when they go to all out war - I have interacted directly with children in that type of situation (and in some case, it was a long thing, so, the kids where not kids anymore when I start interacting, but still the effect of the long time going war were visible).

But back to the game, anyway, I said more than once that I could not have guaranteed I would have been able to continue doing it till the end, and that is still true, but given we are so close to the end, I should be able to do it, and that work is part of the engagement ;-)

Oops, did not think about it (not sure if I did not know, or if I forgot). That could indeed be another explanation.
But at this point my hope is the reverse of yours , i.e. I hope they are using your merger - because in that case, from one side is true that there is zero I can do for them, but also means I do not have to go and find out what went wrong in the update of the incest patch and recorrect it.

Hmm, I will have to try going back to a save before that point or even a new game myself on my computer, and see what happens, but I will not find the time to do it for a few days.

Right before and after that scence with Dr Silver, do the references to Marc as Myriam's son appear, and when Marc talks to Myriam, does he say "Mi" or "Mom" (that is even more telling about the situation/problem) ?
I did not touch that part of the file, so, the only thing I can think about is that by mistake instead of putting in the patch zip file the files from the patch, I put the files from the Patreon version of the game.
