But if some things are not to your taste, keep in mind that nearly everything is avoidable (depending on choices made of course), so if something is not to your taste, you can roll back and explore some new things.

Your indication if you see before and eventually after that scene Marc referring to Myriam as "Mi" or as "mom", are more useful for me than the save file.

AFAIK the save does not save the entire text, just a pointer to indicate at what point of the content you were when you saved and the value of variables, which makes sense.
But it also means that for how the game and the incest patch are made, even if the save was made with a version where that chapter does not have the incest content, it would load in my version with the incest patch and go forward showing the incest patch content.
There are cases where that would not work and one would get an error message, but not for a save at that point.

Actually, incest was implemented from the start.
The author, Zorlun, had to take it out due to Patreon's threats, but as someone already replied, there is a patch that puts it back trying to restore the line of the "original game setting" or "OGS", as Zorlun would say ;-)

Yeah, iirc I think it was between Ch2.6 and Ch2.8 if my memory don't fails me (I checked more or less when this happen and it was in the start of november from 2021: page 139; post 2.767 for those who want to check it out as a reference). And this happened... maybe 3 years and 10 months (the Patreon thing I mean)? But yeah, it happened in that time.
