The only effect of using the incest patch not aligned to the version of the game, was the fact of missing the new content - however, in the latest version, Zorlun corrected/changed something back in chapter 2 and chapter 3.
From what he said, they are small changes in terms of code, but they change variables usage - that may be the reason you get an error/crash page, especially if using a save file.
The incest patch will be updated after Zorlun releases the next update, since it will need to be an update including those changes, plus the new version and, more importantly, needing to try and test the different paths and choices from the start of the game or almost from the start, which means also a full revision and testing (though someone offered to help with the testing), which means more time to dedicate required, and right now other things have priority over Myriam for me (oops, jealous woman danger, if Myriam reads this
).

But in sure adding/editing the post with 1 line is far too much work.
In general, the mods have seldom given a notice about when an updated mod was coming. Most of the game's fans Know this. Usually, Zorlun explains that they are waiting on him and his updates before they can work on their next mods. If you follow this thread closer, there's no updated mods becaue the Game hasn't been updated. Zorlun had some issues and couldn't get October's out in time. He decided, after taking a poll, to do an Oct/Nov update release at the beginning of Dec. This update will be fairly large like the one earlier in the summer when he ran across a delay. It's almost here. Put some numbing balm on your genitals until it gets here.
