Here's a suggestion, what about adding different states for the character's oufit rather than stripping her as soon as a scene start? For example, having different states of the outfit being torn and destroyed more and more for every encounter?

Reminds me of Illbleed

Would be sweet. you could do a lot with clothing damage, perhaps with struggles? Like if she takes a while to break free of a grab but still escapes, the enemy would rip some clothing trying to hold on to her. Or if she gets grabbed and fucked while fully clothed, the enemy may simply rip off the stuff they need to fuck her (eg: panties), and can hitch up her skirt instead of removing it to fuck her. It would add a lot of variance to scenes that could otherwise be repetitive.

On a side note, I'm glad to hear you're probably going to make these toggleable MateyDev. Some of us are here to fap, not be disgusted, after all ;)

Not sure if I can make clothing damage/rip or not, it's all about texture/material work, but it's possible to hitch up the skirt :) but still, I'll try that for sure.

Cloth ripping is actually an advanced technical and very hard to use with complex/tight cloth model and not many games (Including AAA games) used that function.

Ahh, I wasn't aware. Just thought it'd be a nice, don't worry about it if it's going to be problematic
Hitching up skirts would still be nice though ;)

Sex has to have a consequence in a horror game. That should be the tradeoff for getting to see the content in the first place.

I'm all for a pregnancy system that affects the character but doesn't necessarily end in a game over. There are games in development now that handle this in different ways. I'm reminded of Hounds of the Blade, in that an insect would impregnate the MC and if she birthed the creature she'd be drained 1/3 of health. That's a decent consequence for not playing well without fully punishing the player.

Same thing with gore. It can be there but how you judge what is 'too much' is purely subjective. If games like RE or Dead Space didn't have these elements they wouldn't have near as much emotional punch and force the player to be on their toes. I recall some pretty sick shit in Dead Space but it makes sense given the horror context of that universe. It's SUPPOSED to be dark.

I get your point but in the other hand games should be fun. If i want to play some 18+ games (containing hscenes) i don't want to suffer through some in-game mechanics which are not enjoyable. For that i can simply run some Dark Souls, Green Hell or any other punishing game just to suffer. First of all i want developer to enjoy his own creation and make it be as it was intended to. Without it, it will be a simple product created without any passion, boring, stupid and lifeless. Let the dev enjoy creating the game the way he want to and after that he may consider some other ideas to implement inside the product.

And for the last thing, games are not easy to make. On the biggest games are working hundreds of developers. There are mechanics which required so much time to implement and making them alone is simply impossible within short period of time.

There won't be gruesome scenes for player character (Yes, I hate it, I'm not gonna lie) but you can still dismembering a monster limb, you can turn it on or off too.
I know I am terribly misogynistic, old-fashioned, politically incorrect and patriarchalisticious, but hacking zombies to bits is okay, in my book. Buxom nubile maidens, on the other hand, should stay in one piece. So I approve of this! (y)
... I have spoken.

I don't disagree, there should be a consequence to loosing, making mistakes, or voluntarily getting attacked, but remember this game is also a porn game, and so that aspect has to be considered. People who are okay with the levels of gore in Dead Space and Resident Evil don't necessarily want to mix that with their porn, even if they like the greater intensity of the horror game. Remember, most people won't be too put out by being captured once or twice in this, so they can get their rocks off, but if it involves dismembering the heroine then many people might not even play, or might only play to complete the game, and then it may as well not even have the erotic content.

I still think an 'infection' mechanic might work best. Punish the player for minor mistakes, punish them a lot for getting fucked (be it intentionally or through player mistakes), but don't make it so they want to turn away. Ripping off a limb would be a (very shocking, for sure) punishment, and would really encourage people not to fuck up, but I don't think it would fly with most people who want some sex stuff.

Just my 2$

Gonna remind you guys that this game is not going to be a "Porn game" but an "adult game" because it's gonna be very focusing on gameplay, exploring, story, crafting and surviving rather than just "Sex"
But the breeding is a part of the lore/story and this will be censored in the actual release on steam, adult stuff will have to download as a mod, I'm aiming for both adult/non adult audience :)

So the difference between porn and adult.
Porn game = super low replayability and only focusing on sex, in the end, you get bored so easily.
Adult game =medium to very high replayability because focusing on gameplay, game mechanics or story but still contains some or heavily erotic elements, violence or anything that the kids should not see.

replayability = chance to be successful :)

For now, most mechanics are still not in the game because I have too many things to work on (literally, too many stuffs).

I hope there are difficulty levels planned, I always love a non-frustrating challenge. Be careful with instakill enemies cuz they might turn out be super annoying, I remember completing RE5 on hardest and instakill bugs was most annoying enemy in the game. Chainsaw guys were pretty avoidable, but those things defeats you through unstoppable cutscene literally the second you get close. We might get some of this enemies in the game (which instakill you by a cutscene) and I'll be honest there is nothing more pressuring than an unstoppable enemy following you (RE2 Remake says hello) and I'll like this type of enemies, but obviously some people won't, so difficulty options to make things easier and less frustrating for casual players and other way around.
Also pls no harder = more damage taken and less dealt, instead make enemies smarter and more devious, not stronger and tougher, though might work on some. :3 Also making a character more vulnerable with higher difficulty will work too I guess.

Also Matey you might consider getting a team at some point, cuz making this big and such good and polished game takes a lot of time, effort and your health too.

Yes I'll, but I'll make a new post when I have something interesting or important to tell (I'll always update the info 1-2 times in each month on my Patreon) but I'll post more often if I finished this new build :)

Oh yeah, my bad. I didn't intend to degrade the game XD. Adult game, not porn game.

And yeah, I'm in the camp of a more in-depth game than a glorified sex scene. PDAs for the lore, unlockable outfits, bonus objectives, there's plenty of opportunities. But you do you. It is your game after all.
I also get the feeling I may be talking too much. Am I?

No, i didn't mean to offend anyone, just remind everyone who doesn't know that the game is not going to be a sex game and explain the different :) and feel free to talk anything (I'm not the thread owner btw)

I love the environment and the atmosphere, it remind me the Alien Trilogy game on Saturn/ps1 in a certain way, and this is a good thing (to me) :D
I realy like the fact that you're talking about an "adult game" and not "porn game", this is exactly what i'm looking for and that not so many game have acomplish in my opinion.. So i realy hope that your game will be in 1.0 someday !
Do you know how long the development will last approximately ? (sorry if you already have answer this question, i'm hyped eheh)
I will Patreon your project, best regards

Thank you :) the environment is actually based from ALIEN original trilogy and Original Dead Space. I'm not sure how long the development will take (Maybe 1 year or 2 years but it might be faster or longer than this) and thank you again ;)
