Makes me wonder if they're going to end up changing the breeding mechanics tbh.
As things currently are, there's a tricky spot around day 7 where attackers get numerous enough to threaten defences and unless you've gotten lucky with day 1-2 girls stats your breeding program is still picking up steam. If you survive that though, the exponential nature of breeding single stats means your warriors quickly become unkillable, and your archers one-hit machines, even before you start trying to hybridise them.
Unless enemy difficulty goes exponential to a similar degree day 10+ is going to stay a cakewalk.
Maybe something like capping how fast a single stat can rise per generation? That would reward strategies that build multiple single-stat lineages and hybridises them once they start hitting that cap, particularly if its paired with a buff to multi-stat breeding.
I still need to experiment a fair bit with how breeding works with multiple stats involved. has anyone done a writeup on it yet? I know theres some RNG involved but I'm not sure of the specifics, particularly in the case of shared stats for the mother and father.
