There are mods, the entire last page was mostly talking about the mod for giving characters more colors. As for Cheats, pretty sure this is a game easily cheated just by using Cheat Engine, so I don't think there are any actual cheat mods. That said the game is so easy without cheats that it's really unnecessary.

MBM at the time of pre-release version 0.7 had Hunger system. You had to feed slaves. UI was completely different. Codebase was pretty different too.
I don't know when the transition to the known release version happened (because we unfortunately lost all builds except for 0.1 and 0.7) but I can see why some users might not like release one because some features were cut/toned down.

I'm just saying that things can and probably will change even at the late stages of development for various reasons. It's natural, but since ProjectR have a relatively open structure I'll keep previous builds saved on PC just in case we might have to dig for some early stuff in the future.

did you mean that reply for me? feels like part of someones elses conversation. For what it's worth I am very aware that this is in the early stages of development and it will likely change significantly over the coming versions (I still have the last 4 versions, so far 5.0.3 was my fav, I miss the map and the book of armies). My post was mostly for my own peace of mind, I wasn't sure if I was simply failing to see options in the current version that would make this playable or simply misunderstood how they were applied (first time around I didn't notice the "start attack" button until I read the patch notes).

I gotta say I really dislike the oversized ui for sorting characters in this version, the old version was already to big and unwieldy, and the fact this one opens underneath character windows is very disappointing... it's hard enough to clear the clutter.

you don't even need cheat engine, a lot of settings can be easily altered in notepad... who needs dynamic editing of variables when you can simply adjust things like how long it takes to do a sex cycle or how long it takes for babies to babies to become adults, though there doesn't seem to be much point at this stage of development
