If you're not a fan of Melody then, this game probably isn't for you.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the character. A waifu pillow that comes to life or whatever is a damn sight better than the usual characters in porn games like "recently widowed stepmother" and "'roommate' because we don't want the project taken down." But the voice actress' half assed baby voice is really off-putting, but most of that is probably the fault of the writer. I don't think there's a voice actor alive that could make a line like "don't you want to see my butthole" sound sexy.

Okay, I'm not sure you're fully understanding the premise, and I'm not judging, just trying to get the point across. Melody, the "waifu pillow" is a pre-existing character. She's a VTuber, aka a content creator, and she's crafted a public persona that's like this. It's fine if you don't like it, honestly it's not my cup of tea either, but this is her game. She's working with a dev team to make it for her, and she ultimately has the final say on how the character is.

That's your own opinion if you think it's "half assed baby voice/not sexy" and you're entitled to it but, that's just how she speaks if you watch her twitch/charturbate streams.
Her voice and character in general is not going to change regardless of how the writing is presented, as the game's about her, not just any "horny anime girl" or "hentai babe".

I personally love the way she speaks as it gives me a very calming vibes and the devs releasing her

are you using 5.1? Big improvements supposedly-finally Epic trying to fix the shader comp disaster apparently among other things like a total optimization of lumen and nanite. Also Nvidia released DLSS 2.4 support for 5.1 a month ago and I am sure that's more stable than FSR. Gonna try your game any porn game on UE5 or Decima or pushing the tech barrier gets my support!

FSR2 > DLSS 2.4 as the initial implementation bcs its not limited by hardware. But yeah - DLSS will come - eventually

It is why modern games have quest log. So ppl can understand that first need to equip boxers, as an example.

If you paid attention to the dialogues and the mission briefing which the game prompts you to read before closing, you would understand what you're required to do without any logs.(The game currently doesn't even have multiple missions for people to be confused.)

But, if you weren't aware, the game does in fact have a mission log which can be accessed by unlocking the cursor with the "ALT" key and clicking the symbol on the top left to display/hide the mission log.(A key to directly access the mission log would be better though.)

We are currently showcasing a dream scene. Makes me wonder if its the best "start" to our game, since it heavily relies on post processing and does not necessarily look "da best" compared to other scenarios we could have created. Might going to do some environment and lighting switchero in the future to increase the starter scene "first impression".

Expressions are manually done, but LipSync is procedurally generated - which can look a bit blocky yeah. Its a trade we have to do in order to get anything out in a reasonable amount of time. Its Indie after all

Yes we use Asset packs to create our Environments

But in light of that imagine that currently we have 10 People working on this - fulltime. You probably can´t see it yet but there is a lot more to game development than plopping a scene down and "just making da game" xD

Why choose UE5? Because in 2-3 years from now, when the game is fully developed nobody is gonna want to play or buy a LAST GEN game on steam any more. It´s a calculated risk and we know that some players just won´t be able to play the game RIGHT NOW. Doesn't mean they wont every upgrade though

UE5 has been in development nearly halve a decade now ... the foundational tech/idea for Nanite was developed and showcased by another programmer in 2013 ... yeah sure its not the most stable at this point but it´s definitely possible to develop and deliver games in.
