You need to download both separately, it's two different folders. The spinoff is just an april fool jokes special, it's no canon and just meant for laugh.

Any well-known project will have many negative reviews. Most of them do not contain any constructive criticism.
It's better to try playing it and see for yourself.

Seems like the most subjective thing in history every. Make your own opinion.

There is a reason this is among the top rated VN on this site. There is a reason for leaks coming late or never despite 1k+ patreons...
Will you like the humor? How the fuck would anyone know? Just try it yourself instead of letting rather dubious rants dictate what you should expect.

Short answer: If you see a high-quality VN with low reviews, don't pay attention to reviews.
There are plenty of pretty good games with low ratings, but sometimes we see strange reviews... just play it yourself and see for yourself.

As for Projekt P, I like it; it's the best in terms of story and everything!

yo its really nice especially when you follow the story. sure it has cheesy lines and corny times but it gets better especially in season 2

They have zero value. A lot of F95 users love to cry, complain and bitching about everything.
General rate is 4.7/5 so negative reviews are just a vocal minority.

I rarely pay attention to 1 star reviews on a new game I may try, so usually I go first for the 3 and 4 star reviews, usually they are the most objective but there is exceptions ofc. Then I read a very few 5 and 2 stars just to see both sides of the spectrum, and usually filtered by how the review starts it, if seems "serious"/objective or not. Subjective criticism like humor is the things I pay the least attention. I find this method the most useful to read reviews from a game.
