I try to stay away from the reviews cause I don't wanna know if I get bad ones but I guess I know now

Anyway if anyone was to theoretically leave a friendly review to balance out any mean ones then you'd be a pretty cool dude in my eyes

The game itself is top notch. The spin-off is oddly accelerated in the lewd scenes (unless I need a patch or something) and I didn't enjoy it really,but it doesn't reflect how well done the story line for the main game is. IMO, this game is indeed VERY entertaining and very well done renders ! I agree with the above statements of " If you doubt the reviews,just try it and see for yourself" . Applause to the creator on a great VN

I rarely pay attention to 1 star reviews on a new game I may try, so usually I go first for the 3 and 4 star reviews, usually they are the most objective but there is exceptions ofc. Then I read a very few 5 and 2 stars just to see both sides of the spectrum, and usually filtered by how the review starts it, if seems "serious"/objective or not. Subjective criticism like humor is the things I pay the least attention. I find this method the most useful to read reviews from a game.

On new games most of the time i ignore reviews completely, there's just nothing to judge, giving stars for ''potential'' is well, dumb imo and the visuals i can see myself. If i look, it's mostly for the lower ones, bugs/engrish/paywall/grindy time waste etc that kind of thing.
For the most other games i just look for actuall reasons the user names and if that is a problem for me.
Of course if you have rewiews like ''1 star - don't like the humor'' or ''1 star - because it's a rip off of ME'' that is not helpfull at all.

This. 1 star and 5 star reviews almost never tell you the true story. The real details are found in 2-4* reviews.
1 star reviews on quality projects tend to focus on something that is missing that person wanted. Like a lack of a certain three letter term, or how it has some form of lesbian content.
5 star reviews tend to overly praise. You'll see a review with nothing but complaints but 5* anyway.

When I said that rarely read 1 star reviews is because it is only focused on the negative and for the worst a game or movie or whatever can be very rarely I would put emphasis only on the negative and at least almost all bad creative work have work nonetheless and deserves at least a 2 stars in this rating system, where there isn't a 0 star review.

On the other hand a 5 star review I can give more often because it is based on a average rate of each department (in my own head, I do that for my game tier system of games I play, S A B C, of course lower rates I don't play) and rounding system, rarely also ever a game has 5/5 on every item and department of development and delivering so a content that gets for example 4.5 I'll round up to 5. So I give a bit more of a leeway to 5 star rates than 1 star, always trying to focus more on what is well done/positive as an example of what is the least done/negative to improve with constructive criticism.

That's because the spin-off is basically just a April Fools joke. It's something extra Classy does just for shits and giggles, not something to be taken seriously or reflect the quality of the actual VN.

This game actually has it's fair share of lore dump, but it's just well weaved within the story that it doesn't feel tedious to go through.
