I've been wondering the same thing myself, as I felt could reflect on me too as a Dev, since I was apart of the team and more active on replies for this thread and I have my own AVN that I work on aswell.

I've been checking on a bunch of games I hadn't played in awhile and this is like the 5th one today I found out was abandoned. I'm suffering.

Sounds like life happened:

Unfortunatly Tiimx decided to cease development on Promises and closed all pages for it, I found out the same way as you guys basically, found I was no longer in the public studio discord and the private studio development server.

The day this happened, they had messaged me to inform me they were backing up their computer, so they could reinstall the OS to remove any distractions(games) to allow them to focus on development, when I woke, all the changes had happened then to be told they're working on SFW games now under a new name.

It is unfortunate, but I have no say in this as I was just the script editor.

Which is sad, since this game had lots of promise. The dev could have seen if there was someone else who would have been interested in continuing this with the notes they had, while it would not have been the original vision, at least there would have been chance of this being finished.

well gallery and walk through failed, said something about a error in some line. but just deleted gallery, walkthough and game. Sorry this is not a complaint just a heads up. Or it was do to the failure of proper instructions. Or ya can just blame the play for not understanding programming. Well have a good one.
