you know what's really sad? forget the scam, forget everything. the guy could remain rich as fuck while creating one of the best sex games out there. he had so much time, this game could have been filled with content by now. hell he probably would have made even more money (you spend some to make some) and later move to other projects. by now this game could have seen over 50 enemies and enough sex content to make even the more weird 14 year olds we have here blush. it doesn't even need to be a game, could remain as sex animations and people would be happy.
ofc it's easier to milk simps, women do it all the time and I can't blame anyone but the people who keep paying. for the love of me I can't even explain it, maybe the sexual kink is paying for a game that goes no where the more money it gets?

Speak for yourself, I really enjoy playing nsfw games for the game aspect. We already have metric fucktons of video art, we need more functional games.. that are actually complete and decent.

I think a lot of people are browsing porn games to find INTERACTIVE sex, not some video they can watch to feel cucked by another guy, and not some dark souls ripoff that barely has any sex, and that includes me, but I'm not sure what % of people are like this.
Either way, people browsing for these games are definitely tired of video porn that has 0 interactivity or customisation

August 31, 2022 update has literally zero added sex content. I'm usually pretty forgiving of these developers, but that is a joke. The guy(s) they have working on the game's coding are doing a moderate amount of work still (little consolation as that is for a hentai game), but the people on the crew doing the art/animations might as well have taken the month off.
Again, this is just me, but I'm looking for just enough challenge so that I can't play lazy and still win. Pure Onyx is just about right in that regard. Sometimes I get grabbed or knocked down, but I have enough consumables to never die. And that is the level of difficulty that works for me. Anything too much more, and I get frustrated, and that mental state is not even slightly conducive to playing a sex game.
Personally, I could overcome the difficulty of most H-games, but I just don't have the motivation. Let's be honest. H-Games in 2022 are 98% of the time lesser quality than their SFW counterparts.

or maybe it is that they can't be arsed to play a shitty game with no rewarding gameplay that is based on more grind = better stats? and that only one of the cases.
I don't think I found one single porn game that actually has good gameplay that's comparable even to normal indie games. Most of the time it's either the dogshit I mentioned above, or some insanely hard action game with unexplained controlls in japanese, with an entire tree of skills out of which 3 are actually useful

So, I can't help with modding, but it's probably a lot more complex than just swapping the models around. Basically there are several parts that make up the way the animations look. There's the model, which shows what the character looks like, and the skeleton which is connected to the model at specific points and is used to determine how the model moves during an animation.
If you just swap models around you're going to have a really weird looking result as the skeleton won't match and it'll have odd proportions (depending on how the game engine handles it.
