- This thread erects on 2018, not to mentioned this game in dev hell ever since before that.
- At least it's now 6 years and a half.
- Night of Revenge, solo dev with some guests volunteered already finish their game, latest update were on 2023.
- If you're backing as his patronages on $10 tier, you have now spent no less than $750
- You have now paid at least $750 for a game that still 1/6 done(or lower) after about 6 years and a half.
- You probably have to 'backing' this game about 6 more times of the same amount and hopefully, it'll be finish and release by then.
- Realized you have paid no less than $4,500 for this game until its(eventually) finalization. And you have now grown +40 y/o from that day, giving the same updates ratio.
- Uhh ....
- welp

I used to praise his endeavor ever since MATM. Now, I dunno, I don't care anymore, I guess? Just feels like meme around. His work's quality is undeniable, probably. But there're lots of other option out there. I have already taken this thread like an elderly care that I feels like visiting once in a while. That's it I guess. Have a good coffee, y'all.

I mean, that's what Yandere Simulator did. It isn't out of the question.Part of me wonders if the game had been completed months or years ago and it is only when the trickle of cash starts to thin that a 'new update' is released to increase the flow of funds once more.
I mean... quite insidious but [potentially] dastardly effective, just like the tin foil hat conspiracy of "why create a cure for cancer when the monetization of long term treatment is so much more profitable?" ---not to invite a deep dive into that rabbit hole but yeah, like... unless time is being spent snorting lines off of certain backsides the time elapsed verses funds provided and work presented seem quite disproportionate in my incredibly limited understanding of what it takes to put a game together.
There's a monetization style that a couple western developers seem to do in which they essential sell the "working version" of a game indefinitely, and they use their subscription platform as a way to slowly leak content which keeps subscribers engaged and putting in money.Part of me wonders if the game had been completed months or years ago and it is only when the trickle of cash starts to thin that a 'new update' is released to increase the flow of funds once more.

Been asking that question for a wile now.Why haven't they added voice acting to the H-Scenes? It would add so much to this game.
