I don't know why the guy from the last page called it that, but here it is. It's not even a unique "animation", just some Fem Cops lying on the ground at the end of the Outskirts stage.

Honestly, there is no fun in this scenario. It seems more like an enormous laziness on the part of the developers to create well-constructed scenarios from the Cyberpunk universe or even include one of those beautiful scenarios that are in the drafts presented for the game project.

For example, the ones below that I will post that were presented at the time by Eromancer.










They have creativity, but the willpower to show the public that they liked the creation of the game and its supporters unfortunately does not have it to this day.

because it has "normal gameplay", H games generally don't have "normal gameplay". even though this games gameplay is as basic as humanly possible. I think the people desperately wants an H game that also feels like a "normal game" as well, so they're hedging their bet, despite the dev scamming them.

This is the newest version that has not yet been posted here. I'm curious to know who still has a SubscribeStar account to reveal to us that Eromancer has been posting useful posts there for those who donate to the game's development. Because I canceled my account after I saw that he just keeps messing around with H animations and doesn't bring anything from the game. Using the excuse that it releases long monthly progress reports for SubscribeStar followers. Anyone can write nonsense to say that it does something, now show something concrete like a video even if it was recorded on a cell phone, for example, showing how difficult the original game is becoming. To be fair, I disagree that the hentai in hentai games should just be afterthought that can be switched on or off with the push of a button. It needs to be properly integrated with the story and gameplay so that it all feels cohesive and not just be an X-videos gallery slapped onto a regular game *cough*Subverse*cough*.

That being said, there is a shocking lack of "game development" in this game. I swear the combat feels practically the same as when I first played Pure Onyx all those years ago and like others have mentioned, there still isn't even a SINGLE proper stage that feels like it belongs in an arcade beat-em-up game. Not to mention the complete lack of dialogues and storyline of any kind.

I just checked how much an anime episode costs on average and it turns out you can get a good quality episode for around $100k. I also checked how much money Eromancer has made over the past 6 years on Pure Onyx and was stunned to find out that the amount between Oct 2018 and Jan 2024 just from Patreon ALONE is approximately $700k (they also got a good chunk of money every month from Subscribestar for a long time before their Patreon got banned + some money from itch.io).

You know the craziest part about all of this? Pure Onyx was supposed to be a simple side project pursued alongside Malise and the Machine that was easier to make/update and tide people over as Malise was being worked on. Can anyone honestly say they believe any significant progress has been made on Malise in the last six years? I would gladly take the opposite side of that bet.

I don't really see any qualities that isn't superficial that sets this game apart from others. If I want to play a regular side-scroller I'll play the kino that is Double Dragons 2 or wait for the new power rangers game, and I could just wait till the scenes are on r34 or grab a save, and I can't really comment on dress breaking since the first thing I did was sell my clothes to cut down the grind and gameplay is a slog. I can at least respect believe the talent that goes behind the presentation, so I could believe people thought it looked good and invested money in it for that reason without looking any deeper.

It seems to me that saying goes: "Give the cattle grass and they will give you fruit." In other words, just give H scenes of 3D dolls being eaten like in the X-Video and the sponsors filled their pockets with money without having a concrete result in the end.
It seems to me like the new formula for making money easily and without serious commitment to working hard these days.

Besides, now the value that has been gained from Lovense's sponsorship is also high.
Putting it all together, times in the future, Eromancer is swimming in a good pool of money, not caring about the game project itself from Pure Onyx, because while only releasing H scenes to enhance the 3D erotic animation cattle that don't wake up to actually charging for the game, the effortless profits kept coming in the end.

It's a shame that such a promising beat 'em up game proposal is thrown into the mud by the developer himself.

This game was first advertised as a "Beat 'Em Up RPG", as far as this franchise's 10-year run-around history is taken into account. I think some people here, or the so-called "veterans" already supported Ero since MATM, which was first released in 2014 (maybe around the LOK Forums era, if I remember correctly).

Ever since Pure Onyx went into the frame, the development process for MATM has ceased, or as they say... "putting into the backburner" until "Pure Onyx finished its development course."
