New version is up, not going to be the hero, but from the looks of the changelog there is nothing to get excited over. They added the brute lift scene and clothes durability.

move on people, if the first time you see the poisonous swamp, you seeit. you don't have to keep REPEATING the same motion over and over again. yes: he's milking. big whoop. you know, you can warn others, they know, and they MOVE ON.
guys. just look for something else. there are other roads besides the poisonous swamp path. take a detour(find another game, make discussions over there). at this point you're just giving people fuel/content and more fire. let the game rest. if people wanna be swindled by this dev, let them and move on.

I wouldn't bother if I didn't see a bunch of shillers coming here and praising the game for nice graphics, as if they discovered an indie gem/unicorn in the making...and not a project that can go on for a decade and not reach anywhere.

So, for as long as I'll be seeing completely oblivious people here and no tag/sign for the entire thread that it is a milking project (yes, I think we should have a category for that), I will be coming back to "straighten" some of the more ridiculous claims that pop up from time to time.

I think its a fair point. There's thousands of comments and dozens of reviews that all say that same thing. Its like a poisonous swamp that already has 20 warning signs at the entrance, but everyone feels like they need to add just one more...like they are going to be the one to finally change everyone's mind.

There's plenty of people that (if perhaps still not happy with the pace) are willing to put up with it and just want to utilize this thread to find information, updates, or links. Needing to scroll past 3 whiny posts for every helpful one is not so nice.

Isn't the point of this forum to discuss quality of the game and call out bad actors when they exist? So many people discover a game and take a look at the recent comments to see what state the game is. That's kind of the point. If all the criticism is buried then it might be difficult to make a decent choice if you were to give money to the dev or not, especially when some devs make it their personal mission to cover up any justified criticism they receive. This aint a game studio with stakeholders and executive board members, this is an independent dev team that has no one to stop them from saying or doing whatever they want, so it's important it get's pointed out, repeatedly, if there is unethical work being done.

There are definitely worst devs than Eromancer when it comes to shady practices, but no one can argue that it's been a very long time since their first game was announced (MATM) and they started collecting money with no finished game released since. At least they're a least somewhat transparent about it, though.

The thread has 2.5 stars, its already a known fact the game is crap to the majority the ppl posting above me are proof of that, you are NOT doing anyone a favor at this point, as if u have discovered new knowledge no one knows or something. There are barely any schillers if any, ur just convincing urself ur doing something "good".
The milking argument is also such a basic excuse, when its obvious that if you release content more frequent you gain a larger following which will bring a bigger income if income was the "real goal". There is lots of half finished stuff he could release for more money if he wanted. So clearly money its not the case, the guy just wants to work at HIS own pace and do things as HE likes them and you can either stay or leave.
Also we care because its the same old arguments being made only to clog up the thread, its become a big issue that even the mods made a rule for it.
