I'm curious, what did he do in the past? It's amazing how people still support this scammer. Guess it's the new people who don't know what this dev did in the past

No no, they're still developing it. It's totally true, they say that they're just retooling the game engine and visuals to improve things but it's being worked on. It's their flagship project after all.He abandoned his first game- https://f95zone.to/threads/malise-and-the-machine-v0-0511-eromancer.530/
During the later cycles of development for this game, all they had for updates was background art with absolutely no content added to the game. Worst offense is the dev had an "inner" circle where followers had to pay extra just to view updates. This was all leaked when a former follower got ticked off and he decided to show screenshots of the updates from being in the inner circle. He abandoned his first game- https://f95zone.to/threads/malise-and-the-machine-v0-0511-eromancer.530/
Motha fucka hold up, is this for realSo after reading that the game is semi-censored (switching rape-y elements into... semi-consensual(?) content)
When it comes to Patreon and their guidelines on sexual content, most notably Non-con and Bestiality when it comes to hentai games and problems its caused for games in the past, its largely to placate payment processing companies as they all tend to take a VERY hard stance on most things NSFW in terms of porn. Patreon themselves I doubt care in the slightest, and aren't admittedly the best at even regulating all this content overly consistently on their own platform, hell generally speaking as long as there is no actual allusions to, or animations/artwork depicting it on the actual patreon page itself, a creator can USUALLY slide on by just fine. However, I can list more than a few creators that have either been outright banned from the platform for featuring depictions that are arguably non-con (Jlullaby being one the of biggest names to mention in terms of just art.), and even more for the latter in terms of zoophilic content, Happy Heart Panic being probably the latest I can recall getting slapped on the wrist for this and forced to redesign an enemy for looking too much like a fly, though there are games that have outright had to remove dogs and other animal like creatures from their games to get by the ruling. It really just depends if patreon winds up taking notice, either due to reports or them picking it up through some automated system of theirs, hard to say.Motha fucka hold up, is this for real

The bonerific traits of an H game are that it can transcend the sanitization of the real world and dig into the real taboo aspects of sexuality without the limitations and ramifications of IRL.
Also, I'm not really well versed into the realities of online transactions, but I can't imagine Patreon not having a governmental entity enforcing what content can and cannot have transactions tied to them. If I'm Patreon, a middleman between consumer and creator, there's no way I'm not taking a cut of every-fucking-penny that flows through me - I just can't see a middleman business like Patreon putting morals before money. Albeit I could be wrong on that I suppose.
With that said, and assuming henceforth every middleman business inevitably falls under the finger of big brother, what transaction houses wouldn't be subject to governmental influence? Would we need to establish a direct, decentralized link between creator and consumer? The aim being to avoid H games being scrubbed into squeaky clean softcore powerpoint slides.

Edit: Of course, staying within the bounds of the law. Trying to brainstorm avenues for creators to monetize their content without having to gimp their talents by adhering to a middleman's wagging finger.
whatever happens Eromancer will keep milking the people paying him money. 95% of updates in the last year were meaningless bug fixes, you get 1 sex animation every month. for the amount of earnings this game is making there should be 10 of these plus new enemies/areas and a huge amount of quality of life updates. When it comes to Patreon and their guidelines on sexual content, most notably Non-con and Bestiality when it comes to hentai games and problems its caused for games in the past, its largely to placate payment processing companies as they all tend to take a VERY hard stance on most things NSFW in terms of porn. Of course, thing for me with this is Eromancer, and I'm generally PRETTY generous with giving them wiggle room compared to most, should have really known most of this by now. Hell, if they're censoring non-con content, unless their dog-like enemies end up passing enough to be considered monsters/robots instead of animals, there won't even wind up being zoophilic content in the game like they've kind of already teased will be.
All in all, can't say I'm too shocked this is happening really, but its a real shame in the end. As long as they don't get too hung up on this, and actually keep putting in quality animations, which at least they DO have a quality animator to do exactly that, it won't be much of an issue in the long run, but this is definitely one of those games I don't ever expect to actually be finished much like Malice and the Machine, either just due to them constantly dragging out development purposefully or through poor decisions, and if not that just due to the games pretty sluggish development pace and amount of content for its development time thus far. Only time will tell ultimately.
You can use the ` key and input commands like:Does this game have any cheats?
I am sorry, but I just had to drop in to say that:Motha fucka hold up, is this for real
