Unfortunately, with very few Patreons for the Sandbox version, we couldn't move forward.
The alternative was to abandon the whole thing.

What the fuck are you trying to say. they tried one tact... it failed... so they tried again... how is this lazy? I don't agree with the direction they have chosen (I'd have preferred they had adhered to the original plan), but their postilion is sound, what few supporters they had wanted something simpler, so they went simpler, there is nothing dishonest or lazy about it.

We are working on our other game, Mesmerized, for three years without changing anything, we are on the 24th chapter and we have announced that with the next three we will conclude the story.
Mesmerized works, has a following and allows us to do it, we don't get rich, but at least without losing money.
I'm sorry that you're making judgments without knowing, but no matter how absurd it sounds no one is trying to steal money, also because there is no money.
But in spite of that we try to move forward.
Do you ever wonder if it makes sense to criticize unconstructively something you don't support, that you don't pay for, that no one asked you to play?
Out of 130 likes in the main post there are only 10 negative emoticons.
Yet if one reads this thread it all seems to suck.
Maybe every once in a while you should also appreciate those who with little try to push their ideas forward.

I don't know about what you think of this game but I find the size of the MC's penis extreme. I believe it should be reduced to 2/3 both in length and in thickness. It will still be very big and so the dev doesn't need to change the script but it will look better in my eyes and will be easier for the love scenes. How on earth would it be possible to put that monster into their mouths not to mention into their a***s. Please dev listen to me and fix it in the next update(s).
Just want to say that i liked the game, a little sad to see that the old system isnt going to be continued but still a great game! Very much looking forward to future updates!

Unless you support the dev why do you care? Now if you did support the dev then your frustration is understandable, if you haven't done jack shit to support them and just played it for free why not just leave the game and thread if your free game doesn't meet your expectations?

The VN is not adapted to the story in the current state, a lot of passage with only 1 choice to validate which breaks the rhythm of the story (which is not very developed which is good for a Sandbox but a little light for a VN)
Authors - when you create a game, make a precise plan of what should be in your game, if you have to ask the opinion of your patreons, offer them a choice taken from this list which leaves you in control of your work, without falling into "gas factory" stories (as they say in France to indicate that something is going in all directions without a real development plan)
Foot of the Montain, Second Happiness, The Twist, Big Brother are good exemple of "Gaz factory" even with a walkthrough it's hard to follow a quest

It seems to me that this zone is just forum for complainers. I have never understood why these folks just don't move on if they don't like something. Please allow these devs to realize their vision, without your meddling.
Personally, I like this game. Like some of you, I was disappointed in the move to VN as the sandbox version requires some investment from me. It's that investment that keeps me engrossed and wanting more. But, on the side of the VN, I still found the premise enjoyable and worked through the story until I was certain I had acheived all possible results. Both were fun.
So, to all of you, please allow this dev to get it figured out. His games are awesome fun, and I would hate to see this idea get buried.
I became a patron today. I hope that Dark Moonshine will continue this vision.
