I don't mind, and haven't minded, waiting for this game; I just hope all his playing around with new mechanics and AI's eventually results in a new published version. This is the largest 3D free roam porn game I can think of (certainly in Unity; @ Home Mate and the like from Illusion might be competitively sized but far less varied in content), and I like the author's taste in porn. Having said that... a new underwater dungeon (threatened back during his post about a new crossbow weapon being effective underwater) sounds like it could be murder. Dungeon 2 was lovingly crafted but a bit rough on the players before he eased it up a little.

Also still praying for the ability to re-play old dungeons, and a better character/quest info page.

like me for all the rest..
yes, it has roughly 2 scenes for every family char. personally it's the situation I prefer in the whole game.

I'm not really sure if you can do it in every build, because I haven't tried it myself. To be sure, get the New Year Special build.

well I have it in the last build as well (the .fix one).
If it does't show up try to dl a save.
Once unlocked you can do it once every day from 15.00 to 17.00
I remember there was a small walktrough in the forum on how to activate the xmas event.
and yes, there lay the best Nyotalia scenes

The post from 25 Feb, 2021 was a poll asking the player base what weapons they've preferred using in previous versions of the game. Right now, there are five options, with sword leading the poll and bow in second (the other options are knife, axe, and spear). The poll should be closing sometime today, 27 Feb 2021.

The dev goes on to say that they are doing some last optimization on the weapons. They have acknowledged that certain weapons in the previous builds are somewhat under performing or not powerful enough to use over the current meta of sword/bow. They hope that making some final adjustments to the new build (0.8.6) will make the other weapons either more viable or preferred for some situations in the new dungeon.

Performance wise, the dev claimed the game is in a stable state now and it should be ready for release soon. In messages about two weeks ago, the dev was aiming for a release by the end of the month. I don't think release will happen in that time frame considering Monday is 1st of March, but if it is only some tweaks to the weapon system remaining, we may see a new version within a weeks time.

Edit: The dev has now said he wants to make sure most patrons have had an opportunity to provide input on the weapons and tweaks. The dev will "update it as soon as possible this month".

At this point im kinda worried though if its just going to be a disappointment since its been under development for such a long time, it'll be hard to make this update worth the wait since its been over a year..

Yeah, I know that feeling.

And I know the dev has promised a lot for this update, including the size of the dungeon. I'm just hoping that they haven't over-hyped or over-promised. The one notable benefit is that the dev has said that updates should be fairly regular after this update, something akin to how they were 2018-2019 (so monthly, or near to it). I'm guessing this is because they went back and resolved the issues with their code? I know users on here were joking several months back about spaghetti code, and they probably weren't too far off.

Now, does that mean more island content in the immediate future, or more content for the dreamworld? Both, probably.

It hasn't been stated as of yet if this dungeon is like the previous ones (in that you cannot return once you clear it). If that is the case and you cannot return, then hopefully you'll be able to capture the monster girls like in previous versions and train them on the island. If returning is an option, I guess it will play more like the dreamworld as there will be reoccurring spawns.

So far, we know of 2 new female monster girl enemies: the shark girl and the bi-pedal mermaid (wait, does that still make her a mermaid, or is she technically a siren? ). There's also the boss for the dungeon, the titled "Fish Queen". Collectively, and based off of previous content, there should be at least two scenes a girl, probably more for the boss. Also, the H-Demon makes an appearance with the new character model, replacing the old tall, red-skinned busty model, with a petite, fair skinned, white hair and horned model.

Regardless, I think we will all be disappointed to some extent when the update drops, seeing as we've all been waiting since the new dungeon was initially teased in Nov 2019, and we've only seen one true update since. Will we enjoy the update? I bloody hope so.

Jokes apart, personally I hope for the completion of the sex arks with the existing chars (all the "coming soon" options) more than a vastly developed dungeon. Not that I don't enjoy them, but in the end you do them only once to unlock the characters in there and.... just how many times you guys had the lizard girl after you enslaved her??
Still I like the concept and the overall game since the beginning, so everything comes will be good 4 me, just let it come f.t.l.o.G.
