You can't be in an unhappy, sexless relationship, where the arguing is more frequent than the love and respect part of it and also be in love with your woman or her with you, cuz it's like saying you can be a devout religious person or traditional man during the day and a serial killer or something 'nice' like that during the night. It don't make any sense as an argument, but it makes for a good joke.
Plus, explain this to me... if Allison loved the MC sooo much and really wanted to make the marriage work, seeing how she got all butthurt and emotional about it when he confronted her, why did she not put enough effort to do just that and refused to listen to his problems and have sex with him ?? An attractive woman like that in a sexless relationship or marriage like theirs is a ticking time bomb, bro'. There's no "if" she'll cheat on her man in this example, it's just a big "when" and "how many times". No judging from me. Hell, I'd do the same if I somehow had the stomach to put up with a woman like Allison's bullshit and constant nagging.
That right there is the problem... you're too emotional about a fictional example, generalize shit based on how you think relationships work as opposed to how they really do and how other ppl make them work or not, while I also add reality to the equation. If she neglects you, doesn't respect you, doesn't care about your opinions and problems, prioritizes various other stuff over your relationship, she don't love you, man. You roommates with benefits at best, not a married couple, and an attractive woman like Allison will always have way more options than a guy like the MC does, realistically speaking. So no,
her staying the loyal, butthurt lil good girl after the divorce is the devs' way of stylishly dodging a nuclear missile filled with all the hatred and 'feedback' you can read in a lot of other non NTR game threads and just that, nothing profound about it. Instead, they focus all their hate on V's bipolar clingy, needy big ass while trying to sell us the lie that she'd make for a good wife, only for a few hours a week lol.
Also, neither the MC, nor Allison are exactly average-looking ppl, even for porn game standards. Sure, they can't brag about their finances or invites to posh parties to socialize with 'good' ppl from high society, but both of them would have it pretty easy on dating apps and dating in general, especially Allison, which is why I say her reactions sometimes are complete nonsensical female bullshit at work.
If you had those fond moments most, if not all of us, would've AND a kid, would you still leave her if she kept ignoring you and treated you as harshly as Allison did the MC prior to their divorce and after it ??
I somehow don't think so, but I might be wrong on this. I know I wouldn't put up with that, I admit I'd prolly snap and pimp-slap the shit outta her if she dared to threaten to not let me see my kid anymore just cuz she's too stupid, petty and butthurt to move on from a guy she likes to claim a lot not to love or care about anymore.
Sorry, but I'm only human. Love and respect need to be mutual to make things work out smoothly, if they ain't, we don't have a relationship anymore, we should find other ppl to love and move on with, but we can't make that lil kid disappear, so we'd have to at least tolerate each other for his/her sake without throwing spiteful remarks 24/7.
