I don't disagree it was handled poorly. But have you seen the way some people in love act, even those that seem well put together or smart? Completely irrational at times. I know over the many years I've been alive I've done (and heard of) some really stupid/crazy things for infatuation/love. Looking back on it, some of it I do regret, some things I laugh like crazy, and others are just embarrassing. None of it was maliciously intended, and I don't get the impression V is doing it maliciously. Sure some people have done some really vindictive or malicious things, but you can usually see it as it's hard to hide when it's that malicious.Uhm how does Veronica behaving shitty correlates to you taking choices to the MC behaving "shitty"? I dont really get your line of thought. But maybe it helps him to decompress or something when you play him like that, i dunno.
Are you arguing: the mc is/can be an asshole so his LI should be an asshole too?
Veronica knows about what happened about 40h afterwards, really soon.
Come on, i was obviously exaggerating a bit and its obviously very unlikely that she acted out of malice, she was emotional and hurt and thats why she acted like that.
The thing is, it doesnt really matter, she still did it.
She should be empathetic enough to be aware that her feelings and cravings come second in this situation, unconditional help is required and not pushy expectations in a situation like that. No matter the reason for these expectations, it can wait a few weeks in a time like that. They had a fuckbuddy relationship for 6 months already, a few weeks more or less doesnt matter.
Shes a mature fucking college professor, she should have the brains to be able to realize that, shes not a over-emotional girl being the first time in love unable to think straight.
In V's mind it makes sense at the time. I can't defend it, just saying I don't think it was maliciously intended.
