Yeah thats how it was in my playthrough and well ...View attachment 4349179
Seriously I might even be wrong only time will tell
Curious considering that MC may have already done all 3 plus having reviewed Natalya and Jasmine shortly before XD
On the 'good' path, Jake takes almost ALL the blame. He even says as much several times, that he wasn't there. From the conversation at the park, to the driving to/from WUI. Even at the dinner date, he takes the blame. Never once tries to turn anything to her, it was all MC.Just in the latest update, I mean - I don't think there's the blame talk there, I think the only major difference in dialogue is between MC and Cammy/Coop.
The two are not (or were not) mutually exclusive. Never done her hate path....can still call her out on her bs for 5 years when you drop Lilly off.On the 'good' path, Jake takes almost ALL the blame. On the 'hate' path, the blame is written as almost exclusively Allie's fault. I've never done this path, just going off what other posters have said. That she was never around, she ignored him. Jake says most of the items, and Allie has a lot of ellipses.
So the conversation differences are sprinkled around quite heavily it seems.
I get that it was likely both somewhat at fault, but the dev/author seems to want the main responsibility to depend on the path you are taking.
You aren't wrong at all. That's why I caveated it with *almost*. If you are on the full "support" and 'reconciliation' path it is pretty lopsided. The two are not (or were not) mutually exclusive. Never done her hate path....can still call her out on her bs for 5 years when you drop Lilly off.
The first time I played through I choose Allie and thought she was a total bitch. However it wasn't too far in, before teaching Bob to "shake paw" when they are on the phone and the below (image) dialog pops up. When I saw that I knew she still loved him, really wanted him to make it work and was struggling with the internal conflict. That one little line put me permanently on her path.On that specific path, the dev seems to want the bulk of the responsibility to lay at the feet of Jake. I get that both sides were at fault, but Jake assumes, admits, or never disagrees that a lot of the issues were with him. He was never home, he never spent time with her and Lily, he spent more time with Delilah than Allie, he was under Delilah more than under Allie. And he accepts it and owns it.
This is your house, we're just visiting. "We" can't thank you enough for all of the fun and entertainment we've enjoyed thanks to you sharing your talent. Well done you!Have fun playing Episode 3.2!
The game had previously implied Alexa and Kris were FWB, so it's not like this comes completely out of the blue. But it's definitely a problem for players that liked one girl but not the other, made even worse by the way the MC will automatically drool at every opportunity for sex no matter how often we turn them down. It's disappointing when the first scene I get with a girl also involves a third wheel I have no interest in.

I know a lot of people take the more is merrier approach to these things, but I enjoy playing favourites.
What would be wrong is that the MC blew that relationship up, big time. I don't buy they could ease back into their old habits and live happily ever after no matter how responsible we make the MC after the fact (and frankly, thus far we can barely make him act like an adult). The chance to fix things with incremental steps was back when the two were in a cold war. After things went hot, I doubt simple self-improvement would be enough to mend the fences. What would be wrong with reigniting their original passion, but incorporating the growth they have had since separating? Pretty sure it's mentioned they used to be great together, life or work just ground them down and they lost the spark.
Lily's accident, while tragic, seems to have been the catalyst that forced MC to become the man Allie always wanted him to be. He's driven, has a goal and they're both communicating. After the dinner at Allie's, we find out she still misses him and she still wears the engagement ring.
If the battery is a success, they will be set for life. Free from having to work, I don't see MC not committing time to being a great dad and a better partner.
See above. I'll take your word about Nat's dialog, but I don't think the distinction matters. The problem wasn't that the MC failed to "live up to his potential" last time. Even in an alternate world where the MC became rich and famous years ago, the marriage would still have fallen apart because the two of them weren't pulling in the same direction.I mean apparently they were a dream couple until ~5-7 years into the marriage. These are a lot of good memories, expieriences, storys, passion shared. They shared 1/3 of their life together after all and and it was probably the most defining part of their lifes so far.
Imo its fine to reignite the original passion if they add their newfound experiences/perspectives to it. Jake kinda changed/reverted back into a improved version of the guy she did fall in love with.
And lets be honest, they did got married waaaaaaaaaay too young (at least for Jake), the break giving him opportunitys to experience single life and freedom.
But if he gets that taste (single, sex, different women, freedom) and realises that he would prefer to have his family back, i would say that a huge learning experience and shift of perspective. No more fear of missing out.
The renders of the dialogue with Nat are not about sex by the way, Natalya tries to explain Jake that Allison doesnt dislike him at all which he struggles to believe.
It kinda was imo. Allison did fall in love with the ambitious guy who always finds solutions for problems and leads the way out of trouble. For some reason (day to day life?) the mc lost this passion or drive (this is not only stated by allie but by Veronica, or for example William too) and turned into a guy taking the way with the least resistance (in his relationship and when he started working at the university).See above. The idea that the MC would be more faithful and better able to communicate once he's had a chance to sleep around is... rather optimistic given his behavior in this update. Even turning down empty sex with his own student (when he KNOW Bates will fire him at the slightest provocation) has him fantasizing about the sex he's missing out on.![]()
Yea this is how I feel about it. Never thought of the Ham comparison but it holds... at least from my point of view. Bates (and Ham) definitely wants the MC to succeed. And i don think Bates even really dislikes the mc. Hes just an oldschool hardass, like a sophisticated version of ham dunkirk lol but he ultimately wants the mc to succeed and is merely pissed because he considered that jake didnt had the drive/ambition (to get back to the start of my post) to do it despite the potential.
I don't know man the MC wasn't doing any street racing and hadn't even been to a street race until his daughter was in a coma. Believe me I like the street racing as well but it's his daughter that represents "the roots". That partnered with the idea that there is much more money to be had working the battery/3d printer route than by actual racing it seemed like a logical move to me.The quality of the game means it will be good no matter what direction it goes in, but I would appreciate a course correction that brings it back to its roots.
Honestly, unpopular opinion I find her more attractive than Jasmine and watched her extra sex scenes more than once and want more with her. This chapter's sex scenes have proven once and for all that despite the disgusting actions of unrepentant Ginger Supremacists, and their perfidious Kraut allies, Alexa stands tall; demonstrating with ease, what many of us have long suspected, that she is a- nay, THE main love interest of this work, and (in keeping with her adorable need for cuddles and forehead kisses) the superior choice for all boys, men and male-presenting robots of culture.
TLDR. Alexa is on the board. Case closed. She's the best. Suck it you ginger-fucking losers.

Same. I've been a fan of hers since ep 1. I understand Jasmine's appeal, but Alexa just seems like she's in a whole other class for me. And every new layer we peel back of her character and crazy kinks only makes me want her more. She's a keeper for sure.Honestly, unpopular opinion I find her more attractive than Jasmine and watched her extra sex scenes more than once and want more with her.
