On the 'good' path, Jake takes almost ALL the blame. He even says as much several times, that he wasn't there. From the conversation at the park, to the driving to/from WUI. Even at the dinner date, he takes the blame. Never once tries to turn anything to her, it was all MC.

On the 'hate' path, the blame is written as almost exclusively Allie's fault. I've never done this path, just going off what other posters have said. That she was never around, she ignored him. Jake says most of the items, and Allie has a lot of ellipses.

So the conversation differences are sprinkled around quite heavily it seems.

I get that it was likely both somewhat at fault, but the dev/author seems to want the main responsibility to depend on the path you are taking.

Just to confirm for the second time, when I said "not much difference in dialogue" and what was there was primarily in the chat with Cammy, I refer to just what happened in 3.2, not before. The talk in the park and the dinner date/hate fuck were before this. I was literally just reporting on the difference between the "good" and "bad" path solely for the latest update.

It's not about assigning blame in the technical sense, it's about what the MC expects to happen. After all, he has a figurative magic penis. Girls can't help but throw themselves at him no matter how he treats them - even Allison needs a concerted effort to overcome the allure. So when you say he's putting his cards on the table, does that mean he wants Veronica make an informed choice, or does he expect her to go along with whatever he wants because she can't bear the thought of losing him? The latter is still not his fault per se, but it does make his lifestyle a lot more destructive than I'd like.

I don't think we're intended to view the MC as accepting that destruction to get what he wants, and for the most part I don't really believe it myself. But there are times when I have to wonder, given some of the things he gets up to on certain paths. For all the talk about him being a good father and our ability to improve his personality, he can be stunningly immature at the drop of a hat. I guess that just rubs me the wrong way.

For what it's worth, the MC never disputes he's Veronica's boyfriend, either.

Yeah he never disputes it in front of others like jasmine (which is strange) but it could be excused with him not wanting to explain their exact relationship to Jasmine. I mean is he supposed to tell her "Nah, we only fuck." ?

And imo it gives veronica (if you take this choice) the possibility to make a informed decision. Breaking up with her "for her sake" would be kinda belittling/disrespecting and like this woman isnt able to make decisions for herself.

She was fine with fucking around for 6 months without committment already, she obviously enjoys to have fun herself too.

You could even turn it around and argue that she tries to "manipulate" him into a relationship despite his clear reservation (but i think thats dumb too).

Lilly being hit was definitely not an accident, Wyatt(rapey mcrapeface) Is obviously still mad that Allie was "taken" from him when MC saved her in the past. Now he has the backing of the baby dick gangster guy and probably thinks he is untouchable, likely is for now at least as MC was stopped from kicking the shit out of him anymore.

He was stalking the house, before Lilly was hit I'm pretty sure, then you have the stuff with Maggie at the house that burns down, you have the break in at Allie's house, pretty sure her tired are slashed at some point too, which was if not Wyatt then someone who he works with. There Is If I'm remembering right a conversation about getting locks changed not long before the conference since she can't feel safe at home which Is one of the main reasons I asked her to the conference, better having her with or close as possible to the MC with the bs that Is likely coming down the road.

I think Wyatt is on his own with the lily thing. But so far neither the gangster nor Wyatt has admitted anything.

Pretty sure the gangster was unaware of anything about lily as he seemed to have no clue why the mc would have followed Wyatt to the house (which gave the mc the perfect excuse to hide why he was there in the first place).

At the moment I don't think I'd say the gangster knows anything about who MC is to Wyatt, maybe not everything anyway, just mean Wyatt is protected since the gangster seems to need him. I am very pessimistic overall so I am always expecting the absolute worst, when things ramp up I doubt Allie, Lilly and any LI's will be safe.

Finished all of my playthroughs, and I'm really enjoying this game (still). Jasmine was a delight with all her teasing and poking of Veronica.


This was a bit harsh though, considering the game:


I did find one issue as I was doing an "others" save UndergroundStudio. I just took Jasmine and Natalya to the conference, went to the sauna with them, and then when fistbumping Jasmine, it would throw me back to the start menu. Using URM, it looks like there are three options and because I was on neither a Jasmine or a Natalya path, it had no "true" option to allow the game to continue.

Well said. Additionally she starts to show appreciation for these actions quite quickly. I know it's weird but I constantly feel like she's dying to forgive him and fall into his arms again... while also being a sincerely pissed off bitch who wants him to pay for his actions. Every time he's cool with her it seems that forgiveness goes up and "pissed off" goes down.

Well, apparently his dick is absolutely top notch.

Just don't do the Jasmine scene (don't take a sip) after the race in the end of 3.1 version, if you take the titty champagne with her you get Jas sex scene and enter her romantic path and the full Nat+Jas scene won't happen. And of course Nat has to go to the conference too like byaaahh said. But you already got the other Nat+Jas variation scene so you should know that.

Hm... Actually the sauna scene shouldn't trigger at all if you're not on either Jasmine or Natalya path. To be on Nat's path you only have to have at least one scene with her and to be on Jasmine's path you need to have one scene with her plus you can't reject her in the champagne scene.
